Marble Sort Level 101 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 101 Board Overview: The Front-Row Cascade and Corner Locks

Marble Sort level 101 opening board — The Front-Row Cascade and Corner Locks

Level 101 opens with a tray that practically begs you to misplay it. Four fat three-marble blocks line the front of the Top Tray — Blue, Dark Red, Light Green, and Yellow — and your first instinct is to fire all four down in one burst. That instinct loses the level.

Two things control this board. First, locked blocks stamped with a “3” seal off the top-left and top-right corners, so the back rows stay out of reach until you clear three bottom Boxes. Second, the starting receiver Boxes are Light Pink, Blue, Dark Red, and another Dark Red — which means half the front row has no legal home yet.

The one piece of good news is hidden in the second Box column: it is stacked Blue over Light Green over Yellow, exactly matching three of your four front blocks. That stack is your skeleton key. Play the colors in that order and the board folds; play them out of order and the Conveyor Belt chokes.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 101

The whole puzzle lives in the gap between what the tray shows and what the Boxes accept. Here is the breakdown:

  • Second Box column: Blue on top, Light Green beneath it, Yellow at the bottom. Tap Light Green or Yellow before the Box above them clears and those marbles just park on the belt, eating space.
  • Front-left Blue block: clearing it uncovers a single Light Pink marble underneath. It looks like progress toward the Light Pink Box — it is not. One marble cannot fill a three-slot Box, so it becomes permanent belt clutter.
  • Dark Red blocks: the only front-row color besides Blue with a Box already waiting. Two Dark Red Boxes sit on the right, so this is your safe fourth clear.
  • Corner locks: everything behind them — the Purples, Browns, and Greens you will need later — is unreachable until three Boxes clear. No shortcuts.

So the board hands you a loaded gun: four tappable blocks, only two of them safe to touch first. The level is testing whether you read the Box column before you read the tray.

Marble Sort Level 101 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The opening is a fixed chain. Do not improvise it.

Opening: run the cascade

Marble Sort level 101 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Blue block on the front left of the Top Tray. It drops three Blue marbles straight into the Blue Box and clears it.
  2. The Light Green Box is now exposed in that same column. Tap the Light Green block from the front row — three more marbles, another clear.
  3. The Yellow Box appears at the bottom of the column. Tap the front-row Yellow block to fill it.
  4. Tap the Dark Red block into one of the Dark Red Boxes on the right.

That is four clean clears with a completely empty belt. The “3” requirement is met, both corner locks pop, and the back rows open up.

Mid-game: handle the singles without jamming

The unlocked corners reveal a scatter of single marbles — Purples, Browns, Greens, and that lonely Light Pink still sitting in the second row. This is where the run gets fragile.

  1. Check which Boxes are active before tapping anything. Only pull a single when its Box is showing.
  2. Tap the single Purple marbles from rows two and three into the Purple Box once it rotates forward.
  3. Leave the Light Pink marble alone until you can literally see two more Light Pink marbles in the opened back rows. One early tap strands it forever.
  4. Work toward the back right — a key Dark Red marble sits in the third row. Pull it when a Dark Red Box is up and the path is clear.

Cleanup: finish one color at a time

  1. Empty the belt before starting any new color. If you began loading Purple, finish Purple.
  2. Use the open corners to reach the leftover back-row blocks.
  3. Drop the Brown and Green marbles only when their Boxes are the front active layer — they are the last to cycle in.

Level 101 Tips Recap

  • The second Box column (Blue → Light Green → Yellow) dictates the entire opening order. Follow it exactly.
  • A single Light Pink marble is bait, not progress. Wait until all three are visible.
  • Four clean clears beat eight messy ones — an empty belt is what actually wins this level.
