Level 9 Board Overview: The Pyramid You Can’t See Through

Level 9 is the first level that refuses to show you the board. The Top Tray is one big pyramid of blocks, and apart from three blocks along its bottom edge, everything is a question mark. Mystery Boxes everywhere. You are playing this one blind until you earn the reveals.

The three blocks you can see are Red on the left, Light Pink in the middle, and Mint Green on the right. Under the Conveyor Belt, the receiver Boxes run four columns wide. Light Pink and Purple do the early work down there; Yellow, Black, and Red take over later.

The wall of hidden blocks is the whole level. There is no endgame plan until you break the front line and make the pyramid show its colors.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 9

Read the front row of the receiver Boxes before you tap anything:

• Column 1: Light Pink in front, with Dark Blue, Mint Green, and Purple stacked behind.
• Column 2: Purple up front, then Dark Blue, Light Pink, and Yellow.
• Column 3: Light Pink first, then Mint Green and more Light Pink.
• Column 4: Light Pink first, then Dark Blue and more Light Pink.

Now compare that with what the tray offers. Three of the four front Boxes want Light Pink. Nothing up front wants Red or Mint Green. That makes the two outer blocks pure bait — drop either one and it parks on the Conveyor Belt with nowhere to go, and this board crowds fast.

The entire opening hangs on the single Light Pink block in the center of the tray. It is the only legal move, and it is also the key that starts flipping the Mystery Boxes above it.

Marble Sort Level 9 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: the one-block Light Pink play

1. Tap the center Light Pink block. Nine Light Pink marbles pour onto the belt.
2. Let them sort. The three Light Pink Boxes in columns 1, 3, and 4 all eat from the same drop and clear together.
3. Keep your finger off Red and Mint Green. Tapping them here is an instant jam.
4. Check the tray — clearing the center has flipped the Mystery Boxes above it. Purple and Yellow blocks are showing now.

Mid-game: gutting the pyramid

5. A Purple Box now sits at the front of column 2, and a Dark Blue Box has surfaced in column 1. Tap the newly revealed Purple block into that column 2 Box.
6. Clearing Purple opens the next layer of the pyramid. Yellow, Black, and Red blocks start pressing down from the top.
7. Feed the exposed Yellow blocks into the Yellow Boxes surfacing in columns 2, 3, and 4.
8. Still do not release the starting Red or Mint Green. They wait until their exact Boxes reach the front row.

Cleanup: surviving the color flood

9. Columns 2 and 4 now push Red and Black Boxes forward. Work the heavy Red and Black chains into them.
10. Release the original Red block on the bottom left only once a Red Box is actually sitting in front.
11. Clear from the top of the tray downward — every top clear flips whatever Mystery Boxes are left at the peak.
12. Drop one block per waiting Box, never more. The late board mixes Dark Blue and Yellow in the columns, and overfeeding the belt here is how runs die at 90%.

Level 9 Tips Recap

• Three Light Pink Boxes share one center tap — that single move does more work than anything else on the board.
• Red and Mint Green are frozen assets, not openings. They move last, when their Boxes are front and center.
• Always clear the highest matching block available so the remaining Mystery Boxes keep flipping.
