Marble Sort Level 87 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 87 Board Overview: The Chained-Off Left Side

Marble Sort level 87 opening board — The Chained-Off Left Side

Level 87 splits the Top Tray in two and padlocks the left half. A heavy chain seals off two whole columns sitting under a Tunnel marked 3, with solid Pink and Yellow blocks you simply cannot reach. Everything you do at the start happens on the right side, and the right side is rigged.

The exposed bottom row on the right reads Pink, a Red bubble-textured block, a Light Blue bubble block, and a Purple bubble block. Now check what your bottom Boxes want: Light Green, Light Green, Dark Blue, and Orange. Zero overlap. The reachable colors are exactly the ones nobody asked for.

Look one row higher. A Light Green block sits above the Purple, a Purple above the Light Blue, an Orange above the Red. Higher still, a 3x3 grid of question marks hides the board’s secrets — and just beside it glints the golden key. That key is the level.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 87

The design wants you to panic-tap the free bottom row. Here is why each piece is dangerous:

  • The bubble blocks are bait with a purpose. Red, Light Blue, and Purple have no open Boxes — their Boxes are buried in rows two through four. Dropped raw, they rot on the Conveyor Belt.
  • The belt is a waiting room, not a trash can. You are meant to park exactly the right blocks there to dig out the Light Green and Orange hiding above them. Park too many and the belt jams before the chain ever breaks.
  • The key is buried on the right of the Hidden Box grid. Every move in the opening should shorten the path to it. Anything that does not dig toward the key is wasted motion.
  • The chained left side is a reward, not a threat. Once it opens, Pink and Yellow are instantly available — but only useful if your bottom Boxes have cycled to want them.

Marble Sort Level 87 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The opening order is tight. Follow it exactly.

Opening: survive the color mismatch

Marble Sort level 87 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Purple bubble block on the far right and park it on the Conveyor Belt. This uncovers the Light Green above it.
  2. Tap the Light Green block into the top-left bottom Box. Early clear, belt stays breathable.
  3. Tap the Light Blue bubble block in the next column onto the belt. Leave the Red block alone for now.
  4. Dig upward through the gap the Light Blue left behind, working toward the Orange and Dark Blue blocks near the Hidden Box grid.
  5. Drop the exposed Orange block into the bottom-right Box. The clear cycles the lower tray and typically surfaces Light Blue and Dark Blue demands.
  6. Feed your parked Light Blue into its newly opened Box. Belt pressure relieved.

Mid-game: break the chain

  1. Pull the blocks sitting directly under the golden key on the right side of the question-mark grid.
  2. Clear the key block down into the bottom Boxes. The chain across the middle shatters.
  3. Pivot left immediately — the Pink and Yellow blocks under the left Tunnel are live now.
  4. Read the new Box demands, which by this point usually include Pink, Yellow, and Brown, and feed them from the freshly unlocked columns.

Cleanup: two Tunnels, one belt

  1. Both Tunnels count down and spit out new blocks as you clear. Expect a jumble of Yellow, Pink, Light Blue, and Purple bubble blocks raining down.
  2. Never pull from a Tunnel blindly. Only tap a block when its matching Box is active — a Yellow pulled while the Boxes want Purple is a fatal clog.
  3. Prioritize the big bubble-textured blocks; they hog visual space and guard the last required colors. Route the left Yellows into the second-row Yellow Box, then swing right for the remaining Pink and Light Blue.
  4. Watch the belt like a hawk. Three stranded colors means stop pulling and clear one of them first. Once the Tunnels empty, match the leftovers and finish.

Level 87 Tips Recap

  • Parking a block on the belt is a tool, not a failure — but only when it uncovers a color the Boxes actually want.
  • The golden key outranks every other target in the mid-game. Dig straight at it.
  • Tunnel blocks are pulled on the Box’s schedule, never on yours.
