Level 116 Board Overview: The Doubler Gates and the Chained Boxes

Level 116 waves two big green pipes at you the moment it loads. Those are your Multiplier Gates, each marked x2, and they look like free value. They are — but only if the right color passes through them. The board leans heavy on yellow, green, and orange, with awkward knots of pink and light blue stuffed into the corners, and your Conveyor Belt space is the scarcest resource on the screen.

The Top Tray is chunky and lopsided. The right side descends like a staircase, stacked with green, light blue, orange, and yellow. The left side juts into a blocked alcove holding red and pink marbles. The bottom row of the tray is sealed by dotted-texture blocks: pink on the left, purple in the middle, yellow on the right. Behind them sits the main cluster of solid greens and oranges.

One Multiplier Gate parks on the left, directly under a red marble beside a solid white block. The other sits on the right, right under the white and yellow marbles. Down below, your opening Boxes look harmless: White on the far left, two Yellows in the middle, White on the far right. That first layer is a lie — Connected Boxes wait underneath, including a Light Blue Box hard-linked to a Pink Box and, deeper still, a Yellow Box tied to a Green Box.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 116

The board punishes bulk grabbing. Here’s what each element is doing:

• White and yellow are volume bait. They’re everywhere and easy to grab, but overcommitting fills the belt before the deep colors ever surface.
• Connected Boxes share a fate. You can’t finish one half of a linked pair without the other. Dump light blue onto the belt while the pinks are still buried and the run is over.
• The dotted bottom row has nowhere to go early. The pink and purple dotted blocks are landmines until their Boxes rotate in.
• The gates multiply whatever you feed them. Route the right color and they double your throughput; route the wrong one and they double your clutter.

Marble Sort Level 116 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow the gate order strictly. Right gate first, left gate second, dotted blocks last.

Opening: spend the right gate first

1. Tap the yellow marble sitting directly above the right Multiplier Gate. It drops through the x2 and lands as two yellows on the belt — send them into the center Yellow Boxes.
2. Tap the white marble above that same gate. The doubled whites fill both outer White Boxes.
3. Top off the center columns with the solid yellow marbles on the middle right of the tray.
4. Freeze. The dotted pink and dotted purple blocks stay untouched — they have no Boxes yet.

Mid-game: feed the chained pair

5. The Boxes shift to Orange, Light Blue, Pink, Orange. Mine the solid orange cluster in the dead center of the tray for both outer Orange Boxes.
6. The Light Blue and Pink Connected Boxes drop in together, joined by a solid line.
7. Pull the light blue marble stacked over the left gate through the x2. It multiplies and starts filling the Light Blue Box.
8. Immediately pull the pink marble through the same gate into the tied Pink Box. No side trips — grabbing a random green here jams the belt mid-pair.

Cleanup: the last link and the red flush

9. The final pair surfaces: a Yellow Box chained to a Green Box. Tap the dotted yellow block on the bottom right — its moment has finally come.
10. Pour the green clusters from the top-right staircase and the top middle onto the belt.
11. Keep stray red marbles from the left alcove out of the stream until the linked pair drops away.
12. Flush the remaining reds from the top-left alcove into the last single-color Boxes to finish the level.
