Marble Sort Level 28 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 28 Board Overview: A Wall of Question Marks

Marble Sort level 28 opening board — A Wall of Question Marks

Level 28 opens with a gut punch. The Top Tray is a tight 5x5 grid, and most of the upper rows are covered in gray Mystery Boxes. You can only peek at a few isolated patches: a Yellow block on the middle left, a Dark Blue in the center, a Green on the right.

The bottom row is fully visible: Light Blue, Brown, an empty gap, Purple, and Dark Blue. And the receiver Boxes below are demanding Orange, Dark Green, Orange, and Purple.

Feel the disconnect? Two of the four demanded colors — Orange and Dark Green — are nowhere on the visible board. They’re locked inside the Mystery Boxes, and you have exactly one legal move to start digging for them.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 28

The board hands you two free taps that are both poison:

  • The bottom-left pair: Light Blue and Brown are exposed, tappable, and completely useless. No active Box takes either color. Drop them and they rot on the Conveyor Belt, eating the slots you’ll desperately need once the Mystery Boxes start spilling random colors. Touching the left side early is the classic way this run dies.
  • The far-right Dark Blue: same story. Visible, free, and unwanted right now.
  • The one lifeline: the Purple block on the bottom row, second from the right, matches the front Box in lane four. It’s the only tap on the board that both clears a Box and opens space to start cracking the hidden grid above the gap.

The deeper rule: every Mystery Box you break releases a color you can’t predict. If your belt is already crowded, one bad reveal ends the run.

Marble Sort Level 28 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Precision over speed. One wrong tap on a bait color and it’s over.

Opening: the Purple lifeline

Marble Sort level 28 mid-solve board

  1. Leave the Light Blue and Brown blocks on the bottom left untouched.
  2. Tap the Purple block on the bottom row, second from the right. It flows into the lane-four Purple Box.
  3. Start breaking the lowest Mystery Boxes directly above the gap you just opened on the right side.
  4. Pull down whatever reveals itself — you’re hunting Orange and Dark Green specifically. Route Oranges into lanes one and three, Dark Greens into lane two.
  5. Discipline check: only crack a new Mystery Box when you have at least three open slots on the belt.

Mid-game: the demand flips

Once the Orange and Dark Green blockade clears, the receiver stack shifts and suddenly wants Brown, Dark Blue, Pink, and Light Blue — the very colors that were bait a minute ago.

  1. Release the bottom-left corner at last: drop the Brown and Light Blue blocks into their now-active Boxes.
  2. Attack the center column. Clearing the middle Mystery Boxes exposes a heavy vertical stack of Dark Blue, Pink, and Brown.
  3. Clear the central Dark Blue block first — it feeds the shifted Box in lane three.
  4. Expect stray Yellow and Orange marbles loitering on the belt while you wait for their Boxes. Work around them, and don’t crack more hidden boxes until the center stack is gone.

Cleanup: the awkward top corners

  1. Top left holds a stubborn trapped Yellow. Hold it until a Yellow Box surfaces in the middle lanes.
  2. Top right reveals a final cluster of Green and Reddish-Brown blocks.
  3. Prioritize dropping the remaining Pinks — their clears push the final Yellow and Green Boxes to the front. Once those Boxes lock in, flush the last Yellow and Green blocks down the belt to finish.

Level 28 Tips Recap

  • Count your lifelines before tapping: at the start, exactly one visible block has a legal home.
  • Bait colors become real targets later — Brown and Light Blue just need their Boxes to rotate in first.
  • Three open belt slots is the minimum before breaking any Mystery Box. Random reveals plus a full belt is a lost run.
