Marble Sort Level 124 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 124 Board Overview: The Crate-Walled Twin Columns

Marble Sort level 124 opening board — The Crate-Walled Twin Columns

Level 124 is marked “Hard”, and the tray makes the reason obvious: almost the whole grid is sealed. Light-blue question-mark mystery blocks sit along the top row, X-braced wooden crates plug the outer columns, and only two marble stacks in the middle of the tray can actually feed the level at the start.

The left central column stacks Purple over Green over Light Blue. The right central column stacks a bright Pink over two Browns, with a Blue anchored at the base. Those two columns, plus a few edge stacks that open up later, carry every marble in the level. Down below, the opening row of receiver Boxes asks for Pink, Purple, Green, and White, and the conveyor belt is already loaded: a long Green run, a White run, and an Orange run ride in before you have tapped anything.

Behind the front row, more Box rows wait their turn. The second wave brings Green, Orange, Purple, and Red; the mid-game rows add Brown, Blue, Light Blue, and Yellow; the final wave runs Purple, Blue, Red, and Green before a last Green-and-Red pair closes the level.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 124

  • Two columns carry the whole level. The left stack only releases in strict order — Purple first, then Green, then Light Blue. The right stack is Pink on top, then two Browns, then Blue. Every tap commits you to what comes next in that column.
  • The Browns are buried bait. No opening Box wants Brown. Tap the Pink on the right column too early and the two Browns underneath sit exposed with nowhere to go, jamming the belt until a Brown Box finally cycles in.
  • The belt starts preloaded. The opening Green, Orange, and White runs arrive before your first tap, but the opening Box row cannot take all three at once — one of them always has to keep looping while you wait for its Box.
  • The rim is sealed. Mystery blocks and X-crates occupy the outer columns, so there are no edge shortcuts. Mistakes cost belt space, and belt space is the only resource that matters.

Marble Sort Level 124 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: ride the preloaded belt

Marble Sort level 124 mid-solve board

  1. Let the long Green run and the White run that start on the belt ride straight into their slots — the opening row has Green and White Boxes.
  2. Ignore the Orange run for now. It has no home in the opening row, so let it loop until the second wave brings an Orange Box.
  3. Tap the top Purple in the left central column into the Purple Box. It is the only marble exposed at the top of that stack, so this is always safe.
  4. Once the front row refreshes and a Pink Box appears, tap the bright Pink on the right central column.
  5. Do not tap that column again. The two Browns underneath have no Box yet, and dropping them onto the belt is how this level jams.
  6. When the second wave cycles in (Green, Orange, Purple, and Red), feed the waiting Oranges and keep the Greens flowing into the fresh Green Box.

Midgame: strip the central columns

  1. Wait for a Brown Box to appear in the front row, then tap the two Browns into it — the right column finally opens up.
  2. Release the Blue anchored at the base of the right column as soon as a Blue Box shows up in the same row.
  3. Work the Light Blue pair waiting on the right side of the tray into the Light Blue Boxes that arrive in the third wave.
  4. Feed the Light Pink stack on the far left whenever a Light Pink Box comes up — it hides behind the crates and only pays out later.
  5. Handle the Yellow and the remaining Green and Orange edge stacks only when their Boxes are actually in the front row; check before every tap.
  6. Keep the belt from clogging: when two colors are queued for the same funnel, clear the one whose Box is closest to the front.

Cleanup: the last wave

  1. With the central columns stripped, the belt carries the last Light Pinks, Browns, Greens, and Blues out of the tray.
  2. The next wave cycles Purple, Blue, Red, and Green — feed the remaining Purple and Blue from the last stacks before the tray empties.
  3. The final two receivers are a Green and a Red, and the last belt delivery is Green, Yellow, Red, and White.
  4. Feed the final Green, Yellow, Red, and White marbles straight through — once both receivers stack their matching marbles and the tray is empty, the level clears.

Level 124 Tips Recap

  • Play the belt before the tray: the opening Green, Orange, and White runs arrive preloaded, so keep them moving or the funnel backs up.
  • Never expose the Browns: only strip the right central column after a Brown Box is in the front row.
  • Check the Box row before every tap: the left column releases Purple, Green, and Light Blue in strict order, and each one needs its Box up at that moment.
  • The endgame is a single wave — once the central columns empty, everything left rides the belt into the last Green and Red receivers.
