Level 44 Board Overview: The Twin Tunnel Squeeze

Level 44 plays innocent for about ten seconds. The tray is blocky — wide through the middle, narrowing to a point at the bottom — and the colors look ordinary: White, Orange, Green, Purple, and a heavy helping of Grey. Then you notice the edges. A Tunnel marked 3 sits on the far left and another on the far right, each hiding three marbles you cannot plan for.

Your front receiver Boxes want White, Orange, Purple, and White. Your front tray row offers White, Green, Grey, and Orange. Line those up and the trap announces itself: the Green and Grey in the middle of your front row match nothing. They are bait with a front-row seat.

Worse, the middle layers are laced with Connected Boxes — Purple linked to Purple, Grey to Grey, Red to White. Every tap on a linked pair drops two marbles whether you want them or not.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 44

Map the board before you move:

• Front row: White (left) and Orange (right) have active Boxes. Green and Grey in the middle do not — tapping them parks dead marbles on your Conveyor Belt.
• Left flank: above the front White, a Purple and an Orange are stacked under the left Tunnel. Opening this side is how that Tunnel comes online.
• Right flank: above the front Orange, a Blue and a White sit under the right Tunnel. That Tunnel eventually spits out a Purple — and your third starting Box demands Purple, so this side is urgent.
• Center: the linked pairs. Purple-Purple, Grey-Grey, Red-White. If your belt has only one free slot when you tap any of these, it overflows and the run ends on the spot.

The bottom queue is deep and unforgiving. Column one hides Blue, Orange, and Green behind the front White. Column two stacks Red, Grey, Orange, Purple. Column three runs Blue, Grey, Purple, White. Column four buries Green, Grey, Grey, Red. The board clears front-to-back, but only if you force the flanks open first.

Marble Sort Level 44 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Outside edges first, center last. That rule carries the whole level.

Opening: beat the front-row bait

1. Tap the front White on the far left into the active White Box in column one.
2. Tap the front Orange on the far right into the Orange Box in column two.
3. Stop. Leave the Green and Grey in the middle of the front row untouched — they are belt clogs waiting to happen.
4. Read what you exposed: a Purple on the left, a Blue on the right.
5. Dig down the right side. The right Tunnel holds the Purple your third starting Box needs, and activating it is your first real objective.

Mid-game: respect the linked pairs

Clearing White and Orange shifts the queue — Red, Blue, and more Orange Boxes start appearing, and the board tries to push you into the center.

6. Before tapping any block with a link attached, count your free belt slots. You need at least two. No exceptions.
7. When a Purple Box is active and you pull the Purple-Purple pair, accept the cost: one Purple clears, the other parks on the belt until the next Purple Box rotates in.
8. Watch the left Tunnel. Once the blocks ahead of it clear, it releases an Orange. Time the drop so an Orange Box is waiting in the queue before that marble lands.
9. Only now clear the front Green and Grey from step 3. The queue has cycled far enough to accept both.

Endgame: survive the Tunnel squeeze

The center empties much faster than the edges, leaving you alone with the two Tunnels and whatever they decide to give you.

10. Keep working the central Blue and Red blocks to cycle the bottom queue forward, hunting matches for each Tunnel reveal.
11. Never let the belt climb past five marbles in this phase. The Tunnels push their contents out one by one — miscount with a full belt and the run is over.
12. Clear the Grey and Green Boxes stacked at the very back of the bottom columns to finish the board.
