Marble Sort Level 122 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 122 Board Overview: The Double Crate Lock

Level 122 seals its center shut. Two wooden crates stack in the middle of the Top Tray: an X-braced crate caps the top of the middle columns, and a second crate locks the cells directly below it. The marbles that start behind that wall are invisible to you until the crates slide — which they only do once the tray around them empties.
What you can actually reach is the rim. The left column runs Red, Pink, Blue, Purple, Purple from top to bottom. The right side is a White, White, Purple, Blue, Cyan stack, and the far-right column is Orange, Green, Purple, Blue, Green. Down in the front row, the receiver Boxes ask for Cyan, Purple, Yellow, and Green, and each Box displays a column of expected marbles that cycles to a new row once you complete the current one.
The bait is White and Orange. There are two Whites stacked at the top of the right column and two Oranges (top of the far-right column and second slot of the second column), and neither color appears in any opening Box row. Reach for them early and your belt jams before the level really starts.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 122
The Top Tray is built to punish greedy taps. Here is what is waiting:
- The double crate lock: an X-braced crate covers the top two cells of the middle columns, with a second wooden crate below it. A Yellow and a Red peek out from under the stack’s bottom edge — they are the only two center marbles you can feed early.
- The bottom row exits first: the tray drains from the bottom up, so your opening moves are the bottom row: Purple, Light Blue, Yellow, Red, Light Blue, and Green. Colors stacked above them — the top-left Red, the top-row Yellow and Orange — sit trapped until the lower rows go.
- White and Orange are bait: both colors are clearly visible at the start, but neither has a home in the opening Box rows. Every White or Orange you release early rides the belt with nowhere to land.
- Box rows deliver in order: the Yellow Box’s opening row asks for Yellow before Red, and the Purple Box wants two Cyans before its Red slot. Releasing out of order fills the belt with marbles your boxes cannot yet take.
Marble Sort Level 122 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Play to the tray’s physics: bottom row first, then the revealed stacks, then the stubborn top.
Opening: run the bottom row

- Tap the Purple at the base of the left column and feed it to the Purple Box — it is the most exposed bottom-row marble.
- Release the Light Blue under the second column (the one tucked beside the crate edge) into the Cyan Box.
- Send the Light Blue at the base of the right column to the Cyan Box as well; the front row wants two of them early.
- Tap the Yellow peeking out from under the left edge of the crate stack into the Yellow Box — it is one of the few Yellows on the board.
- Feed the Green at the base of the far-right column to the Green Box.
- The Red under the right edge of the crate stack can ride the belt, but hold it near the drop — its Box row only becomes current after the Yellows and Cyans ahead of it land.
- Do not touch the Whites on top of the right column or either Orange yet. Their rows have not cycled in.
Midgame: the crate lock opens
Once the bottom row clears, the tray starts to collapse toward the belt and the boxes cycle to their second rows.
- The middle-left stack comes free: the Blue in the left column and the Cyan above the second column’s crate edge drop next — keep them paired with the Cyan and Blue slots that have cycled to the front.
- When the center marbles under the crates are exposed, let the crates slide. The X-crate drops down and away, and the hidden Light Blues, then Yellows and Greens behind it, come into play.
- Watch the Box rows for White and Orange. The moment a row asks for them, clear the two Whites off the right column and the two Oranges in one push — the belt has been waiting for those slots.
- Release the far-right column’s Purple and Blue as their rows come current; they sit above the already-fed Green, so they fall right into the funnel.
- Keep the belt honest: only tap a marble when its color has a live row. The belt is a loop, and feeding Reds and Oranges into it with no active Box turns the opening run into a jam.
Cleanup: the last stack
The tray is down to its top rows, and the final waves are mostly Blue and Cyan.
- Feed the late Purples and Blues from the middle columns as they funnel through — the crates are gone now, so nothing blocks the center drop.
- The top-left Red finally has a live row. Release it last among the left stack; it has been sitting above the whole solve.
- Let the top-row Yellow and the last Greens and Cyans ride the final belt wave, which runs heavy with Blue before the end.
- As the tray drains empty, the remaining belt marbles drop into their boxes on their own — the screen clears just after the last Blue wave passes.

Level 122 Tips Recap
- The center is sealed by a double crate — play the rim and the bottom row, never the middle, in the opening.
- White and Orange are the bait: two of each, with zero early Box rows. Leave them on the tray until a row cycles in.
- Feed in Box-row order, not tray order. The Yellow Box wants Yellow before Red, and the Purple Box wants Cyans before its Red.
- The top-left Red is the last marble standing; do not rush it while the belt still carries unclaimed Oranges and Whites.
