Level 99 Board Overview: One Side Open, One Side in Chains

Level 99 splits the board in half. The left tower is your workspace. The right tower is wrapped in a giant padlock and chain, and everything behind that chain is off-limits until you produce the golden Key — which is buried near the top-left corner of a 3x3 Mystery Box grid on the left side.

Early colors are Light Blue, Red, Green, and Dark Grey, with Purple and Yellow chaos waiting later. The left tower stacks up like this: Red, Light Blue, and Green along the bottom edge, a layer of Dark Grey, Brown, and Light Pink above that, then the 3x3 grid of hidden boxes. The right tower shows Orange, Green, and White at the bottom — bait — with a locked row of Purple and Light Blue above the chain and another 3x3 Mystery Box grid on top.

Your four active receiver Boxes want Light Blue, Dark Grey, Red, and White. Behind them, the far-left column hides a deep stack of Green Boxes, column three has a Light Blue Box tucked behind the Red, and Brown plus Light Pink sit deep on the right.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 99

Because half the board is locked, your color supply is rationed — and that is exactly what makes the belt deadly here:

• The right-side bait: the Orange and Green at the bottom of the right tower look loose and tappable. They have no live Boxes. Pull them and they camp on your Conveyor Belt for most of the level.
• The Green timing trap: Green marbles on the left are exposed early, but the front row has no Green Box. The far-left column is secretly stacked with Green Boxes, so the moment the front Light Blue Box clears, Green demand floods in. Pull Green before that and it blocks traffic; wait, and it becomes your best clear.
• The Connected Box ambush: breaking the lock does not just open the right side — it triggers a bottom-row shift that drops in Connected Box pairs, and feeding those while your belt is full is how good runs end.

The level is a patience test: strip-mine the left tower in strict order, grab the Key, then untangle the chains one at a time.

Marble Sort Level 99 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Do not improvise the opening. The dig order is the whole game.

Opening: the left-side key dig

1. Tap the Light Blue marbles on the bottom edge of the left tower into the far-left Light Blue Box.
2. Tap the Red marbles on the bottom left. They drop into the Red Box in column three.
3. Hold the Green marbles. The moment the front Light Blue Box clears, a deep stack of Green Boxes surfaces in that column — now send every Green you have.
4. With the bottom edge cleared, the second layer opens. Send the Dark Grey marbles into the column-two Box.
5. Start flipping the bottom row of the left 3x3 Mystery Box grid, one at a time. Only pull colors that match the live front row of Boxes.
6. Keep digging upward through the grid. Near the top-left you will expose the golden Key — it flies across the board and shatters the chain on the right tower.

Mid-game: untangle the Connected Boxes

The chain breaks, exposing a row of Purple, Light Blue, and Purple on the right — and at the same moment the bottom Boxes shift and reveal their trap: a Purple Box in column two tied by a heavy black line to a second Purple Box behind it, and a matching Light Blue pair in column four.

7. Do not rush the freshly exposed Purple marbles. Clear the frontline blockers first — leftover Dark Grey and other visible marbles that still have live Boxes.
8. When a Purple Connected Box reaches the front, feed it Purple from the right tower. Clearing the front box drags its linked twin forward automatically. Keep the belt lean while this happens.
9. Repeat the same steady feeding for the connected Light Blue pair. One chain at a time, no extra colors on the belt.

Cleanup: empty both grids

10. Open the right-side 3x3 Mystery Box grid, starting from its bottom row, and reveal colors one by one.
11. Late Boxes ask for Light Pink, Yellow, and Blue. Never pull a marble — especially Light Pink — unless its Box is actually in the front row.
12. Snipe the leftover Light Pink and Dark Grey stragglers on the far left whenever their Boxes rotate forward.
13. Flush the last revealed colors into the final Yellow and Red Boxes. Cap yourself at three unmatched marbles on the belt, and close it out.

• Green is a delayed reward: pull it only after the Light Blue Box clears and the Green stack surfaces.
