Level 104 Board Overview: The Question-Mark Center Block

Level 104 opens on a stepped marble rack, and the first thing you notice is a wall of question marks. The tall center block of the Top Tray is sealed under grey ”?” covers, hiding most of its marbles, while the flanks show their cards: numbered covers stamped with a “3” sit on top of exposed stacks, and a handful of marble stacks stand in the open.

The left side of the tray is the anchor of the whole level. The far-left column stacks red over yellow beneath a “3” cover, and the column beside it stacks green over orange under another “3” cover. On the right, “3” covers sit over a pink stack and a light-blue stack, with a brown stack tucked deeper under the mystery block. Red, orange, and pink stacks peek out at the base of the center block — those are the first colors the solve reveals. Around them sit purple, maroon, and grey-white marbles that only surface once the covers open.

The receiver floor runs four columns of boxes, each holding three marbles of its color. The front row pairs a fresh green box on the left with yellow, red, and orange boxes that are already 3/3 full. Cyan and pink boxes cycle through the left lanes in the opening minute, and the rows behind ask for green, yellow, red, orange, cyan, pink, and purple — plus grey mystery boxes that show no color until a marble arrives. Between the tray and the boxes, a dark belt carries every released marble to two funnel exits, so whatever you tap has to have a home in the front row.

• The question-mark center: the tall center block hides most of its marbles under ”?” covers, so your first taps are blind. Open it in order and the red, orange, and pink stacks underneath roll out on schedule; open it late and the belt fills with colors no front box wants.
• The numbered “3” covers: every blue cover with a red cross hides exactly three marbles. There are a half-dozen of them across the flanks at the start, and each one dumps a triple the moment you tap it — count your front-row boxes before cracking one.
• The far-left red column: red over yellow under a “3” cover on the far left sits untouched for almost the entire solve. It is the very last stack the belt takes, so releasing it early jams the track with reds while the red receivers are still cycling.
• The mystery receivers: several boxes on the floor are grey ”?” slots that reveal their color only when a marble lands in them. The grey-white marbles from the covers feed these boxes late, and the brown box appears only in the second half of the level.
• The fast front row: the level starts with yellow, red, and orange boxes already full, and fresh receivers keep sliding into the left lane. Feed toward the left lane first and the cycle never stalls.

Marble Sort Level 104 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The tray empties from the center out: crack the mystery block, then the flanks, and hold the far-left red column to the very end. Follow the release order.

Opening: crack the center

1. Start with the center block. Its ”?” covers are the first thing tapped, and the red, orange, and pink stacks at the base roll onto the belt within seconds.
2. Feed the green box at the left of the front row — it is the only open receiver when the level starts, while the yellow, red, and orange boxes beside it sit full.
3. Send the revealed red and orange stacks down the belt. The red and orange boxes clear and the row cycles.
4. Drop the pink stack from the base of the right mystery columns next — a pink receiver takes the vacated lane and fills with it.
5. Follow with the light-blue stack on the right flank. Its box cycles in with the pink one.
6. Do not touch the second column’s green-over-orange stack or the far-left red-over-yellow column yet — there is no receiver for them in the opening rows.

Midgame: brown, purple, and the mystery boxes

7. By the second minute the front row has turned over, and the “3” covers on the flanks are fair game. Each one releases exactly three marbles, so open them one at a time.
8. Release the brown stack tucked under the center covers when the brown receiver appears around the halfway point — it fills the brown box quickly.
9. Purple rolls out of the right-side stack and rides to a purple box in the front rows; it completes by the three-minute mark.
10. The grey mystery receivers on the floor unlock as their marbles arrive. The grey-white marbles from the covers are the ones that feed them, so hold those taps until a mystery slot is in the front row.
11. Keep the belt fed but empty: let each marble find its box before tapping the next column. The midgame rows are green, yellow, red, and orange again, and they cycle fast.

Cleanup: the last four stacks

12. Around the five-minute mark the tray is down to red, green, purple, and yellow stacks — everything else is gone.
13. Release the yellow stack first; its receiver is waiting in the lower rows.
14. Then the green stack beside the far-left column. Feed it into the fresh green box on the left.
15. Let the purple stack roll down after it and clear the purple receiver.
