Level 49 Board Overview: The Twin Tunnel Minefield

Level 49 looks colorful and plays ruthless. The bottom Boxes open by asking for Purple, Red, Green, and Brown — and the Top Tray front line is stacked with Yellow, Light Pink, and Orange instead. Almost nothing you can see at first has somewhere to go.

Both flanks are sealed. A Tunnel showing a countdown of 3 locks the entire far-left column, and a second Tunnel with another 3 locks the far-right. Whatever hides inside them stays locked until you peel the front layers away.

Worse, three Connected Box pairs are chained across the tray: Yellow with Purple up top-left, Green with Brown dead center, and Light Pink with Red mid-right. Chained marbles fall together, so a careless tap dumps two colors onto the Conveyor Belt at once.

Only one column of bottom Boxes is honest. Column 4 openly shows Brown, Light Pink, Red, and Green queued up. Columns 1, 2, and 3 all hide Mystery Boxes behind their first demand, so you are playing the midgame blind.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 49

This board is engineered to make you tap the Orange clusters. Here is the column-by-column breakdown:

• Far-left column: sealed behind the first Tunnel. Nothing here is reachable until the countdown hits zero.
• Bottom row of the tray: Purple is real and useful, but the Orange piles next to it have no Box waiting. Touch them early and they occupy belt slots you cannot spare.
• Center: the Green-and-Brown Connected pair blocks the middle. Both colors ARE wanted early — but only one at a time, so the pair must wait for the right moment.
• Far-right column: locked by the second Tunnel, with that tempting Orange cluster parked in front of it.

The core danger is belt math. The Mystery Boxes mean you cannot predict the midgame demands, so every slot on the Conveyor Belt is precious. Park only colors you know will get a Box soon — Light Pink is guaranteed one in column 4. Everything else is a gamble.

Marble Sort Level 49 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The opening is a fixed sequence. Improvise later, not now.

Opening: crack the front line

1. Tap the exposed Purple marbles at the bottom of the tray. They drop straight into the column 1 Purple Box.
2. A Mystery Box appears behind it. Peek at the color; only pull matching marbles if one is already exposed.
3. Park the Light Pink cluster from the bottom row on the Conveyor Belt. This is planned storage, not panic.
4. With Light Pink out of the way, tap the Green marbles behind it into the column 3 Green Box.
5. Tap the Brown marbles in the middle-left of the tray into the column 4 Brown Box.
6. Column 4 now wants Light Pink — and your parked marbles auto-drop into it, emptying the belt.
7. Track down the Red marbles to finish the column 2 Red Box and clear the front line.

Mid-game: drain the Tunnels, respect the chains

The Mystery Boxes flip and the demands shift toward Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Yellow. Both Tunnels are now the priority — every clear beneath them ticks the countdown down.

8. Work clears under the left Tunnel until it pops and releases its hidden marbles.
9. Do the same on the right flank. Dark Blue and Light Blue pour out; feed them as their Boxes appear.
10. Trigger the center Green-and-Brown Connected pair only when one of those colors has an active Box waiting.
11. Hold the Yellow-and-Purple pair until a Yellow Box surfaces from the mystery stacks.
12. An Orange Box finally rotates in around column 3 or 4 — now, and only now, clear the Orange clusters you ignored all game.

Cleanup: finish the back rows

13. Reveal the last Mystery Boxes at the back of columns 1, 2, and 4 before pulling loose colors.
14. Float any blocking blue cluster on the belt if it guards a color you need now.
15. Save the Light Pink-and-Red Connected pair for the very end unless one side has a guaranteed Box.
16. Sweep the leftovers slowly. One sloppy tap on a dead color steals your last belt slot.
