Marble Sort Level 71 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 71 Board Overview: The Glowing Center Lie

Marble Sort level 71 opening board — The Glowing Center Lie

Level 71 hangs a shiny toy in the middle of the board and dares you to use it. A glowing x2 Multiplier Gate spans the two center columns of the tray — any marble dropped through it duplicates. That sounds like free value. Early on, it’s a belt-killer.

The tray forms a U: six columns, outer edges hanging lower than the middle, the gate plugging the gap. The palette runs hot — Pink, Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Yellow, Orange. Your starting receiver Boxes want Dark Blue, Dark Green, Teal, and a fat stack of Light Pink.

The kicker: nothing on the tray’s front edge cleanly matches that demand. The far-left column has a textured Pink block at its base trapping Green, Purple, and Hot Pink above; the far right mirrors it with a textured Light Blue block under Dark Blue and Purple.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 71

The trap is arithmetic. Doubled marbles eat double belt space.

  • The gate is off-limits early. Drop anything through x2 before its Box is active and the copy just sits there. Two or three greedy gate drops and your Conveyor Belt is bricked.
  • The Light Green blocks flanking the gate are bait. They look like free taps but no Light Green Box is waiting.
  • The left side jams first. Forcing your way down the left columns toward the buried Dark Blue fills the belt’s left half before you get there.
  • The textured base blocks are keys, not clutter. Parking them on the belt on purpose unlocks the rows above — the correct first sacrifice.

The winning line is edge-first: strip the outer columns, starve the center, and turn the gate on only when it can pay for itself.

Marble Sort Level 71 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: work the edges, ignore the glow

Marble Sort level 71 mid-solve board

  1. Check the bottom row — the Light Pink Box on the far right is your first real target.
  2. Spot the two Light Pink marbles in column five, just above the textured Light Green base.
  3. Tap the textured Light Blue block at the base of column six and park it on the belt.
  4. Tap the textured Pink block at the base of column one and park it too. Both parks buy you access to everything stacked above.
  5. Hands off the Light Green blocks by the gate. The whole center stays frozen.
  6. Pull Dark Blue from column six into the first Box.
  7. Pull the Light Pink pair from column five into the right-side Box — clearing it forces the bottom row to rotate.

Mid-game: flip the gate from trap to tool

  1. New Boxes cycle in: Purple, Orange, Yellow, more Light Blue. Your belt is holding parked colors, so every tap is now dangerous.
  2. Work the Purple and Dark Blue marbles exposed on the tray’s left side.
  3. When a Purple Box lands in column three, drain the Purple from the top left immediately.
  4. A Yellow Box appears on the far right — and here’s the turn. Drop your Yellow cluster from the middle-left of the tray through the x2 gate. The duplicates pour straight into the live Box and clear off the belt instead of jamming it.
  5. Same play for Orange: wait until an Orange Box is front and center, then route the Orange marbles through the gate and let the doubling do the heavy lifting.

Endgame: sweep the stragglers

  1. The U is gone and only scattered Dark Green and Light Pink remain on the high rows.
  2. Empty the belt first — slide the Light Blue and Pink you parked in steps 3 and 4 into their Boxes.
  3. Drop the last Dark Green blocks. And keep the rule to the very end: nothing goes through the gate unless its Box is already waiting.

Level 71 Tips Recap

  • The gate is a finisher, not an opener — doubled marbles with no live Box are just double the clutter.
  • Parking both textured base blocks early is a planned sacrifice, not a mistake.
  • When a big-cluster color like Yellow or Orange finally gets a Box, that’s your cue to send it through the x2 and clear half the board in one drop.
