Level 16 Board Overview: Forced Parking and the Double Tunnel Trap

Level 16 suffocates you from the first second. The board is built from heavy slabs of Dark Grey, Blue, Cyan, Purple, and Dark Green, and the gap between what you can reach and what the bottom Boxes want is brutal. Two Tunnels marked with a 3 loom on the outer edges, holding unknown drops for later.

The tappable front row of the Top Tray reads Dark Grey, Blue, Cyan, Blue, Cyan. The front row of Boxes wants Dark Green, Dark Green, Cyan, Purple. See the joke? Cyan is the only honest match on the board. The Dark Green and Purple you need are locked in the second row, armored behind junk colors.

You cannot match your way through this opening. You have to deliberately clog your own Conveyor Belt with useless marbles to dig out the ones that matter — and one extra tap jams the whole run before the Tunnels even wake up.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 16

Five jagged columns, and each one is rigged:

• Column 1 (far left): Dark Grey at the bottom, then Pink, then Dark Green, with a 3-count Tunnel on top.
• Column 2: Blue at the bottom hiding two Purple blocks and another Blue.
• Column 3: Cyan, then Dark Grey, then Purple, then Dark Green at the top.
• Column 4: Blue covering Dark Green, with two Reds behind that.
• Column 5 (far right): Cyan at the bottom, a second 3-count Tunnel, and Dark Grey up top.

The Boxes are layered just as deep. Behind the opening Dark Green and Purple row sits a second row asking for Dark Grey and Cyan, and a third begging for Red and more Cyan. You cannot touch the deep rows until the front clears — which is exactly why the parking play works. The Dark Grey and Blue marbles you stash on the belt are not garbage; they are pre-loaded ammo for row two.

Marble Sort Level 16 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The first eleven moves are one continuous combo. Do not improvise inside it.

Opening: the Cyan gate and the sacrifice park

1. Tap the Cyan marble at the bottom of column 3.
2. Tap the Cyan marble at the bottom of column 5. They drop into the front Cyan Box and clear it instantly.
3. The board is now deadlocked — Purple and Dark Green are stuck in row two. Tap the Blue marble at the bottom of column 2 and park it on the belt.
4. Tap the Blue marble at the bottom of column 4 and park it too.
5. Tap the Dark Grey marble at the bottom of column 1 onto the belt. Now stop. The belt looks scary-full, but row two is naked.

Mid-game: feed the front Boxes, flush the belt

6. Tap the Purple marbles now exposed in columns 2 and 3 — they dive into the front-right Purple Box.
7. Tap the Dark Green marble in column 3.
8. Tap the Dark Green marble in column 4. Both route into the two Dark Green Boxes on the front left.
9. The whole first Box row clears and row two slides up: Dark Grey and Cyan Boxes are live. Tap your parked Dark Grey and Blue marbles — they flush straight into their new Boxes and the belt goes clean. Hardest part of the level, done.

Late game: tunnel duty and the Red storm

10. Work the center columns now. Stripping the Purple, Green, and Red marbles there ticks both Tunnel counters down.
11. Clear the Pink marbles out of column 1 to expose the Dark Green pieces behind them.
12. You will hit a long Green chain. Route it only into visible Green Boxes — never dump Green on the belt on a guess.
13. Both Tunnels hit zero and dump heavy Red blocks onto the tops of your remaining columns.
14. The back Box rows push Red and Pink to the front at the same time. Match the falling Reds into the Red Boxes and close it out.

• Parking is the strategy, not a mistake — Dark Grey and Blue on the belt are row-two ammo.
• After the Cyan clear, tap nothing until all three parking moves are done.
• The belt flush at step 9 is your only breather. Keep it clean afterward, especially during the Green chain.
