Level 78 Board Overview: Half the Board Is a Locked Door

Level 78 starts with a third of your screen behind glass. A huge Panel stamped “32” owns the entire top left of the Top Tray, and it will not move until you have finished 32 bottom Boxes. Everything you do for the first several minutes happens in the center and right lanes only.

The colors in play early are Cyan, Black, Green, and Red. Under the Panel’s front edge sit a Blue, a Cyan, and a Brown block. The center is plugged by two Tunnels showing “4”, with Green, Black, and Pink blocks directly beneath them. The top right holds a 3x2 wall of Mystery Boxes over some Red and Dark Red blocks.

Your front Boxes ask for Cyan, Cyan, Black, and Green, with Black, Blue, Red, and Blue queued behind them. Belt space is the scarcest resource on this board — the locked Panel means fewer reachable marbles, so every wrong pull hurts twice.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 78

The board splits into three zones, and two of them are lying to you:

• Top left: the 32-clear Panel. It is not a puzzle, it is a timer. Ignore it completely and let your Box clears tick it down in the background.
• Center: the twin “4” Tunnels. Each needs four marbles pulled from beneath it before it opens. Never force a pull just to lower the counter — bad pulls are how belts die.
• Top right: the Mystery Box wall. It looks like the open, explorable part of the board. It is not. A question mark tapped without a matching Box drops a homeless marble, and three or four of those end the run.
• The bottom queue: front row Cyan, Cyan, Black, Green; back row Black, Blue, Red, Blue. Every pull you make should answer one of these eight demands.

The design wants you to get bored of the cramped center and go gambling on the right. Stay disciplined: front to back, Box by Box.

Marble Sort Level 78 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: break the front line with the exposed marbles

1. Feed the two Cyan Boxes: take the Cyan block in the second column, then the Cyan block in the fourth column.
2. Fill the Black Box: pull the Black block in the third column (just under the left Tunnel), then the Black block sitting behind where your first Cyan was.
3. Clear the Green Box with the Green block in the middle of the board.
4. Notice the Tunnel counters dropped to 3 on their own. That is the correct pace — the Tunnels open as a side effect of good sorting, never as a goal.

Mid-game: the Mystery Box squeeze

5. The queue rotates to Black, Blue, Red, and Blue. Grab the exposed Blue blocks on the far left and mid-right first.
6. Now you need Red and Pink and the visible supply is short. Tap exactly one Mystery Box from the bottom row of the right wall. If it matches an open Box, send it home.
7. If the reveal is Dark Red or Brown, park it on the belt and stop tapping question marks. Wait for its Box to cycle in. Four parked marbles is a loss here.
8. Keep pulling center matches as Boxes rotate. The Tunnel counters grind down — 3, 2, 1 — and the Tunnels pop open with fresh mid-game colors that help finish the right wall.
9. Every completed Box silently lowers the Panel counter. Just keep the right side moving.

Endgame: the Panel shatters

10. At 32 clears the top left bursts open, dumping clusters of Green, Brown, and Dark Red into play.
11. Check your belt first. Match whatever you parked earlier against the new Boxes, then pull from the freshly opened left side to clear them.
12. Mop up the remaining Green and Brown clusters from the top left, then send the last Dark Red marbles down. The right side should already be empty.
