Marble Sort Level 118 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 118 Board Overview: The Nine-Color Tray

Level 118 opens with more palette than the tray looks like it should hold: nine colors are stacked into a five-column, six-row tray. The left side is loaded. Column 1 runs Pink, White, White, Yellow, and Pink down its five filled slots. Column 2 packs Pink, Cyan, a wooden mystery crate, Blue, Yellow, and Blue. Column 3 mixes Cyan, Orange, Red, Pink, and Yellow, with a Light Pink sitting at its base.
The right half is where the level gets strange. Column 4 starts almost hollow — a Light Pink, a Yellow, and an Orange float in its middle slots, then two mystery crates cap the bottom. Column 5 holds just four marbles: Cyan, Light Pink, Blue, and Orange. The opening box rows ask for Light Pink, Blue, and Orange up front, with Pink, Light Pink, Yellow, and Red behind them. That leaves two colors with no home at all: all three Cyans and both Whites have to wait for the boxes to cycle.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 118
The board hides its problems in plain sight. Here is what is really going on:
- Three mystery crates: one sits mid-column 2 beside the White stack in column 1, and two block the base of column 4. The column 4 pair clears in the midgame, but the crate in column 2 stays locked until very late — plan around it, never through it.
- Cyan and White start homeless: no Cyan or White box exists in the opening rows. All three Cyans and both Whites are bait until the box rows cycle, which is why the endgame runs on exactly those colors.
- The single Red: the only Red on the board sits mid-column 3, wedged between the Orange above it and the Pink below. It leaves the tray early, but only if you let it go before the crate traffic starts.
- The hollow right side: columns 4 and 5 hold seven marbles and two crates in twelve slots. The Light Pinks perch at odd heights — top of column 4, middle of column 5, base of column 3 — so they slip out at irregular moments instead of clearing in one pass.
Marble Sort Level 118 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
The tray gives its marbles up one at a time. Play in the order the board releases them.
Opening: the first three clears

- Clear the Blue at the base of column 2 first — it is the first marble the tray lets go and feeds the front-row Blue box.
- Next the Light Pink at the base of column 3 drops, filling the second Light Pink slot in the box rows.
- The Pink mid-column 3 and the Orange beside it in column 4 leave together — keep the Pink and Orange boxes in the front row ready for them.
- Feed the Light Pink in the middle of column 5 next; the box rows are cycling Light Pink requests at this point.
- Let the single Red in the middle of column 3 go early, before the crates start moving — its box is already asking.
- Do not touch the Whites in column 1 or any Cyan yet. Their boxes do not exist in the opening rows.
Midgame: the crates come out
- The two mystery crates at the base of column 4 clear, opening the bottom of the right half.
- The Orange at the base of column 5 drops — Orange is down to its last marble.
- The Blue mid-column 2 leaves, then the Blue in column 5 — Blue is the first color to finish.
- The Pink at the base of column 1 and the Yellow beneath the crate in column 2 clear together from the left cluster.
- Let the Yellow in column 4 go as the mid-board empties out.
- The last Orange (mid-column 3) and the last Light Pink (top of column 4) leave around the same time — Orange and Light Pink both finish here.
- The White beside the crate, and the crate itself in column 2, clear together. After this, only the top of the tray is left.
Cleanup: White, Cyan, and Pink to the finish
- The Cyan in column 2 drops — Cyan boxes are finally live.
- Let the last Yellow at the bottom of column 1 go; Yellow is done.
- The second White in column 1 clears, finishing White.
- The two last Cyans — top of column 3, then column 5 — drop as the box rows ask for Cyan.
- The final Pink in column 2 and then the Pink at the top of column 1 empty the tray. The board is clear.

Level 118 Tips Recap
- Blue is the level’s pacemaker: it leaves first and finishes first. Let it lead.
- The column 4 crates clear in the midgame; the column 2 crate waits until nearly the end — never stack up waiting on it.
- Cyan and White are the real bait: zero boxes in the opening, then the entire endgame runs on them.
- The last six marbles are White, Cyan, and Pink only — if you still have Yellow or Orange in the tray at the finish, you fell behind.
