Level 40 Board Overview: Four Clusters, Two of Them Lies

Level 40 lines up four fat clusters at the bottom of the Top Tray — Red, Light Blue, White, Green — and dares you to tap them all. Two of them are traps. The top half of the board is sealed behind mystery tiles, the middle is barred by two blue Panels numbered ‘3’, and you cannot reach any of it until you bank three receiver Box clears.

The Top Tray reads like this from the bottom up: the cluster row (Red, Light Blue, White, Green), then a rank of single marbles (Purple, White, Light Blue, Yellow, White, Dark Blue), then the twin Panels blocking the central columns. The outer edges hold Pink and Yellow on the left, Mint Green and Orange on the right.

Now check the receivers — this is where the trap snaps shut. The active layer asks for three Light Blue Boxes and one Yellow Box. No Red. No Green. Those two corner clusters have nowhere to go.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 40

• Bottom-left Red cluster: pure bait. No Red Box exists yet, and with so many Hidden Boxes stacked below, you cannot even guess when one appears.
• Bottom-row Light Blue cluster: the real opening — three Light Blue Boxes are waiting.
• Bottom-row White cluster: playable, but only after the Light Blue Boxes clear and expose the White Boxes underneath.
• Bottom-right Green cluster: same story as Red. Tap it now and it parks on your Conveyor Belt indefinitely.
• Second-row singles: your toolbox. Light Blue and Yellow top off the first Boxes; the Whites feed the second wave; Purple and Dark Blue matter later.

Belt pressure peaks in the midgame. Once the Light Blue Boxes clear, White Boxes open, then a chaotic rotation of Orange, Mint Green, and Purple. You need empty belt slots to juggle that shuffle — which is exactly why the Red and Green clusters cannot come down early.

Marble Sort Level 40 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow the release order. Ignore the bait, break the Panels, then dig the top.

Opening: three clears without touching the corners

1. Tap the Light Blue cluster on the bottom row. It floods the waiting Light Blue Boxes.
2. Grab the single Light Blue marble from the second row to top off the last one. The Panels start ticking down.
3. Tap the single Yellow from the second row into the open Yellow Box.
4. Hands off the Red and Green clusters. Admire them and move on.
5. Tap the White singles from the second row — clearing Light Blue has exposed White Boxes below.
6. Drop the big White cluster from the bottom row into those White Boxes.

Mid-game: the Panels break

That is your third clear — both ‘3’ Panels hit zero and vanish, exposing the center columns.

7. New marbles are reachable in the middle, including Dark Blue and Red. Tap nothing yet.
8. The first wave of Hidden Boxes flips: Orange, Mint Green, and Purple Boxes activate. Match the Mint Green and Orange marbles from the outer edges of the Top Tray.
9. Tap the single Purple marble from the left of the second row into the active Purple Box in column one.

Endgame: the corner clusters finally cash in

The bottom receiver stacks now start demanding the two colors you have been sitting on.

10. Tap the bottom-right Green cluster — the Green Boxes are exposed, and it sails straight through the belt.
11. Tap the bottom-left Red cluster into the waiting Red Boxes.
12. Pull the top mystery tiles one tap at a time, revealing hidden Yellow, Dark Blue, and Pink. Route the big Yellow cluster near the top-left of the mystery zone straight into the Yellow Boxes.
13. Use leftover belt space to hold mismatched reveals, and finish with the last Dark Blue and Mint Green matches.

Level 40 Tips Recap

• Half the bottom row is bait. Only Light Blue and White are playable at the start.
• Three clears break the Panels — Light Blue, Yellow, White is your safest route there.
• In the mystery zone, one tap at a time. Never pull a tile you cannot immediately match or cheaply park.
