Marble Sort Level 72 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 72 Board Overview: The Sword-Shaped Bait Pile

Marble Sort level 72 opening board — The Sword-Shaped Bait Pile

This board wears a colorful costume and plays mean. The Top Tray is one giant cross — almost a sword — crammed with Pink, Yellow, Orange, and Brown. It looks like a clearing party. It is not. None of those colors have a home in the opening.

The front row of receiver Boxes asks for Green, Light Blue, Light Blue, and White, with Brown, Pink, and more White queued behind them. The blocks you actually need are tucked on the left and right wings of the cross, hovering directly over two x2 Multiplier Gates.

One more row matters: the six blocks sitting on the funnel lip read Pink, White, Dark Blue, White, Light Blue, and Brown. That little strip is your toolbox for the first half of the level.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 72

The board is rigged to make you swipe at the fat middle of the cross. Here is the breakdown:

  • The cross body: thick stacks of Pink, Yellow, Orange, and Brown with zero matching Boxes in the front row. Every tap here parks an orphan on the Conveyor Belt.
  • The wings: small Green and White clusters on each side, sitting above the x2 Multiplier Gates. This is your lifeline — the gate doubles whatever falls through, so a tiny cluster fills a whole Box.
  • The funnel row: the Light Blue and spare White blocks you need for the middle Boxes live here, plus a Dark Blue for later.
  • The belt math: the Conveyor Belt has almost no slack. Park three or four wrong colors on it and the queue jams before the first Light Box even clears.

So the opening is pure trigger discipline. Wings and funnel row only. Everything else is decoration until the Boxes rotate.

Marble Sort Level 72 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: cash in both Multiplier Gates

Marble Sort level 72 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Green blocks on the left wing. They fall through the left x2 Multiplier Gate and double on the way down.
  2. Tap the White and Green blocks on the right wing — same deal through the right gate. The front Green and White Boxes practically fill themselves.
  3. Drop the Light Blue block from the funnel row toward the two Light Blue Boxes in the middle.
  4. Drop a White block from the funnel row to finish off the White demand.
  5. Hands off the upper cross. Let the first wave of Boxes clear and roll away.

Mid-game: the board shifts and the cross opens up

Once the front row is gone, the lower section slides up and your new targets are Dark Blue, Green, and Brown.

  1. Send the Dark Blue cluster from the funnel row into the freshly exposed Dark Blue Box.
  2. Pick the Brown blocks off the horizontal arms of the cross — the Brown Boxes have rotated to the front by now.
  3. Work the Pink blocks out of the center column. Pink Boxes appear in the second column of the lower section, so feed them before the belt gets crowded.
  4. Still holding Orange and Yellow back? Good. Only drop them if the belt has room to park them, or if one is blocking a color you need right now.

Endgame: strip the top of the cross

  1. The Box rotation speeds up, with more Green and White targets popping up. Keep feeding them from whatever the cross offers.
  2. The very top of the Top Tray holds a stack of Pink, Light Pink, and Orange. Drop it in short bursts, never all at once.
  3. Check the bottom Box color before every tap — the top blocks overlap slightly. If you have to drop an Orange to reach a Pink, make sure two belt slots are free to hold it.
  4. Flush the leftover Yellow and Light Pink blocks down the middle column to close out the level.

Level 72 Tips Recap

  • Fire both x2 Multiplier Gates in your first two moves — that is the entire opening.
  • The cross body (Pink, Yellow, Orange, Brown) is bait until its Box rotates to the front row.
  • Keep two belt slots free before pulling from the top of the cross, because those blocks overlap and surprises happen.
