Level 85 Board Overview: The Nine-Pack Bait Wall

Level 85 greets you with three fat 9-marble bundles parked across the front of the Top Tray: Green on the left, Dark Orange in the middle, Dark Blue on the right. Behind them sits a mixed wall of single tiles — Light Blue, Dark Grey, Dark Green — and the back of the board hides two more threats: a Tunnel showing a countdown of 3 on the left, and a 3x3 Mystery Box Panel on the top right.

Your bottom Boxes start as Dark Orange, Dark Orange, Dark Grey, and Dark Blue. Do the math before you tap anything. Two Dark Orange Boxes hold six marbles, but the orange bundle carries nine. And the Green bundle? There is no Green Box anywhere near the front — it is buried under two layers of Dark Grey in column 3.

One wrong bundle on the Conveyor Belt and nine homeless marbles end your run on the spot.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 85

Every front-row bundle is sized to overflow your belt if you release it at the wrong moment:

• Front-left bundle: the Green 9-pack is pure bait. Its Box sits two Dark Grey layers deep in column 3. Tap it early and nine green marbles clog the belt permanently.
• Front-middle bundle: the Dark Orange 9-pack looks safe because two orange Boxes are open. It is not. Nine into six leaves three marbles stranded on the belt for the rest of the level.
• Front-right bundle: the Dark Blue 9-pack is your actual opener. Only three of the nine have a Box — but clearing that Box is exactly what fixes the orange math.
• Column 4 stack: under the front Dark Blue Box hides another Dark Orange Box. Revealing it raises orange capacity from six to nine, which makes the middle bundle safe.

The Tunnel and the Mystery Panel are late-game problems. The entire opening is about which bundle you touch first.

Work right to left. The bottom Boxes tell you the order.

Opening: create orange capacity

1. Tap the Dark Blue 9-pack on the front right. Three marbles fill the front-right Dark Blue Box; the other six wait on the Conveyor Belt.
2. That clear exposes a Dark Orange Box underneath in column 4. You now have three active orange Boxes — capacity nine.
3. Tap the middle Dark Orange 9-pack. All nine marbles sort perfectly into the three Boxes and the board massive-clears.
4. Do not touch the Green bundle. Column 3 is still sealed by Dark Grey.

Mid-game: strip the middle and wake the Panel

Once the front layer clears, Light Blue and Light Green Boxes cycle in at the bottom.

5. Tap the loose Light Blue and Light Green single tiles in the middle of the Top Tray into the new Boxes.
6. Clearing the middle flips the 3x3 Mystery Panel on the top right, revealing Orange, Purple, and Light Pink 9-packs.
7. Resist the urge to tap a revealed bundle just because you can see it. No matching Box at the front means it stays put.
8. Feed the scattered Dark Grey tiles into the Dark Grey Box blocking column 3. This finally uncovers the Green Box.

Cleanup: the Green bundle and the Tunnel

9. Drop the original Green 9-pack into its now-open Box.
10. The Tunnel counts down and pushes out a Dark Red 9-pack. Hold it until a Pinkish-Red Box rotates into the bottom row — usually after the Green clear.
11. Release the Dark Red bundle once its Box is active to burn the next Tunnel layer.
12. Finish with the Light Pink and Purple bundles from the top right, tapping each only when its Box is at the front. Every late tap drops a huge wave, so belt discipline matters more than speed.
