Marble Sort Level 138 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 138 Board Overview: Crates, Question Blocks, and Bait

Marble Sort level 138 opening board — Crates, Question Blocks, and Bait

Level 138 opens with a packed tray of columns that looks more like a storage shelf than a sorting board. Gray mystery blocks printed with a ’?’ sit on top of several columns, brown wooden crates cover part of the left side, and red tiles marked with a white ‘4’ are mixed into the stacks. Below, the receiver row asks for Orange, Red, Green, and Purple, and each box wants three marbles of its color.

The conveyor queue feeds the tray from the side, dropping balls in batches of Purple, Green, Red, White, and Blue. The catch: White and Blue have no receiver boxes in the first wave. They are pure bait — feed them early and they squat on the belt while the real boxes wait.

The crates are labeled with the color of the marble they hide, which turns out to be every serious color on the board. The ’?’ blocks keep part of each column unreadable, so the opening is about reading what is visible and refusing everything else.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 138

  • White and Blue bait: both colors ride the conveyor from the start, but no box asks for them in the first wave. Every one you park on the belt is a slot you cannot use.
  • Crate-hidden colors: Orange, Green, Red, and Purple all sit under crates as the level develops. Digging them out early means holding marbles with no free box.
  • Mystery ’?’ blocks: the gray blocks hide whatever sits behind them, so a column that looks safe can surprise you mid-fill.
  • Overstuffed columns: several columns stack five marbles deep with no free slot in the first wave. There is zero margin for parking mistakes.

Marble Sort Level 138 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play to the boxes, not the tray. Here is the release order.

Opening: feed what has a home

Marble Sort level 138 mid-solve board

  1. Start with the front row — Orange, Red, Green, and Purple all have boxes waiting, so work the visible marbles of those colors first.
  2. Read each column before tapping. The ’?’ blocks and crates hide part of the stack, so only commit to a column when the visible marbles are wanted colors.
  3. Leave the White and Blue balls in the queue alone. No box asks for them yet, and the belt fills fast.
  4. Do not dig under the crates. The marbles underneath are real colors, but releasing them early leaves you juggling them with nowhere to go.
  5. Keep feeding wanted colors as the queue delivers fresh batches and the mystery blocks shift.

Midgame: the row cycles and White comes home

  1. The receiver row cycles to Purple, White, Red, and Green. White finally has a box — this is the moment to clear every White you skipped in the opening.
  2. The queue now runs Purple, Blue, and Green batches. Green is always safe; keep Blue out until its own box appears.
  3. As the front row clears, the crate-covered marbles come within reach. Release each one only when its color is showing in the receiver row.
  4. Keep the numbered ‘4’ tiles moving — they occupy tray slots like any other marble, and emptying them opens the columns behind them.
  5. Let the conveyor set the pace: whenever the batch on the queue matches a live box, that is the safest feed on the board.

Cleanup: finish against the widened row

  1. In the late game the receiver row widens as Brown, Pink, Yellow, and Light Blue boxes cycle in.
  2. The tray is down to small same-color groups — Green, Blue, Orange, Pink, and Red — so feed each group as its box comes to the front.
  3. Brown arrives on the conveyor near the end with its box already waiting, so it can go straight in.
  4. Save the last wanted colors for the final stretch, and resist the bait until the very last box.

Level 138 Tips Recap

  • White and Blue are the bait colors — skip them until a matching box cycles to the front row.
  • Crates are labeled with the color they hide; only dig under one when that box is live.
  • Let the conveyor do the work: feed in the queue’s order whenever the front row agrees.
  • A mystery ’?’ block hides part of a column — read the visible marbles before committing.
