Marble Sort Level 164 Walkthrough & Solution
Marble Sort Level 164 Board Overview: Crate-Locked Colors

Level 164 opens with a crate bolted over the top of the tray. All five columns start full, but the crate seals the upper three rows, so the only marbles you can actually tap are the two bottom rows peeking out underneath. Everything you need most is trapped inside.
The front row of receiver Boxes asks for Red, Green, Red, Red. That is the whole story of the opening: Red and Green are the priority colors, yet every Red sits locked inside the crate while the accessible row below is mostly Yellow. The visible lower rows hold four Yellows, two grid-patterned Greens, a single Light Blue, and two mystery ’?’ marbles. The conveyor belt starts queued with Purple, Red, Dark Blue, and more grid-Green, waiting to cycle in.
Behind the front row, the Boxes fan out into more Green, Yellow, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and a single Purple. Notice what is missing: there is no Dark Pink Box anywhere in the visible stack, and only two Yellow Boxes exist at all. Both gaps shape how you play.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 164
The crate is rigged to make you feed the wrong color. Here is the layout:
- Yellow overload: four Yellows hang in the accessible bottom row, but the board has just two Yellow Boxes, both in back rows. Tap the Yellows early and your conveyor fills with marbles that have nowhere to land.
- Red is locked away: the front row begs for Red three times, but every Red marble sits inside the crate. There is nothing to do about it but work the exposed row first.
- Two mystery ’?’ marbles: one sits in the left column’s lower stack, one in the right column’s lower stack. They reveal their colors only when tapped, so your opening has an unknown variable baked in.
- Dark Pink has no home: the single Dark Pink sits at the very top of the right column, sealed in the crate, and no Box on the board asks for it. It is pure bait until a Box cycles around.
The board wants you to clear the reachable row as fast as possible. Do that without checking where each color lands and the belt jams before the crate ever opens.
Marble Sort Level 164 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Patience wins this level. Work the exposed row, let the crate open, then ride the conveyor.
Opening: clear the exposed row only

- Tap the two grid-patterned Green marbles in the bottom row into the Green Box — the front row wants Green, so these land safely.
- Tap the Light Blue marble on the middle column into a Light Blue Box behind the front row.
- Tap the left mystery ’?’ marble to reveal its color. If the revealed color matches a Box in the front or second row, feed it; if not, leave it and move on.
- Tap the right mystery ’?’ marble the same way — this one is buried under the Yellows on the right, so expose it as soon as the column is reachable.
- Do not touch the four Yellows. They have two Boxes total, both parked in the back rows, and every Yellow you send early clogs the belt.
- Keep feeding the grid-Greens as they arrive on the conveyor. The opening box layout wants Green more than anything else you can actually reach.
Midgame: the crate opens
Once the exposed row thins out, the crate lifts and the sealed colors pour into play. Red finally becomes reachable, Purple and Dark Blue arrive from the conveyor queue, and the front row cycles toward Purple, Pink, and Yellow.
- Prioritize the Red Boxes as soon as Red is released — three front-row Boxes want it, so nearly every Red you find has an immediate home.
- Feed the Purple marbles from the left column and the conveyor as Purple Boxes cycle forward.
- Watch the conveyor for the queued Dark Blue run. Dark Blue has a Box waiting behind the front row, but it arrives all at once, so keep the belt clear when it comes.
- Now the Yellows have their moment. As Yellow Boxes cycle to the front, feed the four you saved from the opening.
- Leave the Dark Pink alone. It is still waiting for a Box and the midgame has better targets.
- Handle the mystery marbles’ revealed colors as their Boxes appear, but never hold the whole board hostage for one color.
Cleanup: finish the stragglers
With the crate long gone, the tray thins to a few columns and the conveyor does the heavy lifting.
- Feed the remaining Greens and Purples from the belt as their Boxes return to the front row.
- Collect the Dark Pink once a Box finally cycles around to it — it can wait at the top of its column until then.
- Sort the last Yellows and clear any remaining Red. Orange may cycle in late from the conveyor; only commit to it when an Orange Box is actually in the front row.
- Play strictly to the active front row from here. The level finishes itself once the stragglers match their Boxes.

Marble Sort Level 164 Tips Recap
- The opening is an information game: tap the two mystery marbles and the exposed grid-Greens first, and treat the four Yellows as bait until the crate opens.
- Red is your true priority — three front-row Boxes want it, but you cannot touch it until the crate lifts, so don’t panic during the Yellow-heavy opening.
- Keep the conveyor clear when the Dark Blue run arrives; it comes four deep and can stall everything else.
- Colors with no visible Box (Dark Pink early, Orange late) are traps. Only commit a marble when its Box is in the front or second row.
