Marble Sort Level 270 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 270 Board Overview: The Crate-Stuffed Funnel

Marble Sort level 270 opening board — The Crate-Stuffed Funnel

Level 270 is a Very Hard board built in three parts: a tile grid on top, a funnel in the middle, and four receiver tubes across the bottom. The grid opens crowded with colored blocks, and most of its middle is sealed — four wooden X crates wrap grid positions, six grey ’?’ mystery tiles blanket the stacks, numbered tiles marked “1” and “3” sit mid-grid with “4” markers at both top edges, and an ice tile plus a solid wood block stall whole lanes until the tiles around them clear.

Below the grid the funnel starts loaded: White and Bright Green cluster at its base, a run of Light Blue hangs near the top, and Pink lines the right side. The bottom tray holds more Light Blue, Pink, Red, and Yellow, and the four receiver tubes lay out the level’s real plan — the left tube asks for Red, Pink, Light Blue, and White, the center-left for Green, Red, and Yellow, the center-right for Light Blue, Pink, Red, and White, and the right for Yellow, Red, and Light Blue.

The opening trick is hiding in plain sight: Red is the only color every single tube requests. Light Blue shows up in three tubes, Pink and Yellow in two, while Green and White each have one home and Orange has none at all. Feed the colors the tubes are actually asking for, and the crates and mystery tiles stay beatable.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 270

The grid is rigged to make you dump tiles into the funnel faster than the tubes can take them. Here is the layout:

  • Six mystery ’?’ tiles hide the grid: the middle of the board is covered, so you cannot plan the top of the grid until you tap it. A bad reveal drops a color with no open tube straight into the funnel.
  • Four wooden X crates wrap the grid: the crates hold their tiles until the blocks around them match away, so forcing a wrapped column early just jams the funnel.
  • Numbered tiles pay out several at once: the “1” and “3” tiles mid-grid and the “4” markers at both top edges release a whole run of tiles in a single tap — wasted unless you aim them at an open tube.
  • Orange has no tube at the open: the Orange blocks sit on the grid while every receiver asks for Red, Light Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, or White. Tap Orange early and you are holding a tile with nowhere to go.
  • Ice and solid wood block the lanes: one ice tile and one solid block sit mid-grid, stalling whole columns until their neighbors clear.

Marble Sort Level 270 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Read the four tubes before you commit to a single tile. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the tubes that exist

  1. Survey the four receiver tubes at the bottom — every tube asks for Red at the open, which makes Red the color that actually moves the board.
  2. Tap the Reds first. Red clusters in the tray’s middle rows and every tube will take it, so the left tube is the safest place to start.
  3. Feed Light Blue next — three of the four tubes want it, and the funnel already holds a run of five near the top.
  4. Drop the Pinks into the center-right tube; the funnel’s right side is loaded with four at the open.
  5. Feed White into the left tube and Green into the center-left tube — both sit in the funnel from the first frame.
  6. Peel the ’?’ mystery tiles one at a time. If the reveal matches an open tube, drop it; if not, leave the column and come back.
  7. Leave the Orange blocks alone — no tube asks for Orange at the open, and their grid tiles carry numbered labels that pay off better in the endgame.

Midgame: clear the crates and rotate the tubes

By mid-solve the grid has thinned out: the mystery tiles are revealed, the crates are gone, and the funnel streams a steady feed — the mid frame catches a run of Reds falling into the tray while Light Blue, White, Purple, and Yellow wait below. The tubes have rotated: the right receiver now asks for Orange, so the opening bait finally has a home.

  1. Bank the numbered markers as their countdowns open — the grid’s “1” and “3” tiles and the edge “4” markers each release several tiles in one drop, so aim them at whichever tube is active.
  2. Feed the Red stream continuously — a long run of one color is the board telling you exactly which tube to close.
  3. Keep the Purples in the tray until a tube actually asks for Purple — at mid-solve they wait while the tubes cycle through Red, Light Blue, Pink, and Orange.
  4. When a crate-wrapped column finally clears, its tiles arrive in batches — feed them in the order they drop so the funnel never backs up.
  5. Re-check the four tubes before every tap; they rotate as each one fills, and a tube that just closed will not take another tile.

Cleanup: drain the numbered tiles, empty the tray

The end frame catches the level still in motion: the grid holds only scattered Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Purple, Pink, and Green clusters, the numbered tiles have drained to 0 and 2, and Green is the last color feeding into the remaining tubes.

  1. Play only to the active tubes — every remaining tile is a single waiting for its slot to come around.
  2. Let the numbered tiles finish spilling their chains; the Green tiles they feed land in the last open tubes.
  3. Drop the final stragglers as their tubes cycle forward, and the tray empties. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 270 Tips Recap

  • Red is the workhorse: every receiver tube asks for it at the open, so feed the Reds first and keep the stream moving.
  • Reveal before you commit: six ’?’ mystery tiles and four wooden crates hide the grid, so never plan a drop on a tile you cannot see.
  • Orange is the bait of the opening — no tube asks for it until the midgame rotates the right receiver to Orange.
  • The numbered tiles are endgame fuel: “1” and “3” markers mid-grid and “4” markers on the edges spill several tiles at once, so let them drain the final tubes.
