Marble Sort Level 361 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 361 Board Overview: The Two-Color Opening

Marble Sort level 361 opening board — The Two-Color Opening

Level 361 runs on the funnel machine: the top source grid holds columns of square colored tiles, and everything you release drops through the funnel, rides the conveyor as round marbles, and lands in the receiver Boxes at the bottom of the board. Seven colors share the tray — Red, Purple, Green, Orange, Pink, Blue, and Yellow — but the level opens with a narrow, honest target list.

The front row of Boxes asks for Red, Red, Purple, Purple, and the row directly behind it wants Purple, Green, Purple, Pink. That is the whole opening plan: Red and Purple are the only colors with a home you can reach immediately, and Purple is pulling double duty with three requests across the first two rows. The conveyor is already loaded to match the trap — two Pink, three Yellow, and two Blue marbles ride the belt at the start, and only the Pinks have a Box anywhere near the front.

The source stacks are uneven. Tall towers of Red and Purple anchor the left columns, while the middle and right columns mix Pink, Blue, Yellow, Orange, and Green with empty cells breaking the columns apart. The top tile of a stack does not tell you what is buried underneath, and a careless tap can dump a color with no open Box straight onto the belt.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 361

The board is rigged to make you feed what the belt shows you instead of what the Boxes ask for. Here is the layout:

  • Only Red and Purple have front-row Boxes: the opening requests are Red, Red, Purple, Purple up front, with Purple, Green, and Pink behind them. Every other color is bait until its row cycles forward.
  • The conveyor arrives pre-loaded with distractions: Pink, Yellow, and Blue are already riding the belt when you start. Yellow and Blue have no visible Box at all — feed them early and they just sit on the belt.
  • Orange is the deep trap: Orange tiles sit exposed near the tops of the source stacks, but no Orange request appears in the first rows. It looks like an easy win and it is a jam waiting to happen.
  • The columns are stacked unevenly: several towers are full while others hold a single stray tile between empty cells. Releasing a column frees whatever is behind that gap, so every tap is a reveal you cannot fully plan.

Marble Sort Level 361 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Stick to the Boxes that are actually open. Follow the release order.

Opening: bank Red and Purple

Marble Sort level 361 mid-solve board

  1. Feed the Red tiles into the two front-row Red Boxes. Reds cluster in the lower left of the source grid, so they arrive in useful runs.
  2. Treat Purple as the engine of the opening — it has two front-row Boxes and one behind them. Every Purple you clear counts twice, so chase it whenever a column exposes it.
  3. Feed the second-row Green and Pink requests as those colors surface from the stacks, but only when the front row is not asking for something better.
  4. Let the two Pink marbles already on the conveyor find their second-row Box; do not stack more Pinks behind them if the Box is still buried.
  5. Leave the Yellow and Blue belt marbles alone — no Yellow or Blue Box sits in the first two rows, so they should ride the conveyor until the machine cycles.
  6. Do not touch the exposed Orange tiles yet. There is no Orange request on the board, and parking Orange on the belt while Red and Purple Boxes are open is how the queue jams.

Midgame: strip the towers

By the middle of the solve the source grid has thinned, and the receiver rows have cycled so Blue and the rest of the palette finally come to the front. The remaining columns are tall mixed towers with empty cells between the tiles, and the belt is running a steady stream of every color at once.

  1. Keep feeding Red and Purple while their Boxes still sit in the first rows — they are the cheapest clears on the board.
  2. Work the tall towers one tile at a time. When a column exposes a color whose Box is in the front row, empty it; when the next tile down is a color with no open Box, stop and move to another column.
  3. Prioritize whichever column shows two matching tiles in a row — clearing it finishes a Box and opens up the grid at the same time.
  4. Feed the belt in arrival order: take a marble only when its receiver is front and center, and let unneeded colors keep cycling past.
  5. When Blue and Yellow requests finally reach the front row, sweep the belt clean — the batches that have been riding since the opening now pay off in one pass.

Cleanup: chase the stragglers

In the final stretch the source grid is nearly empty, and the end of the run shows only a handful of tiles left: a few Orange, Yellow, and Green singles scattered across the columns with the funnel still moving marbles toward the rack. The level is a straight finish from here.

  1. Play only to the active front row — every remaining tile is a single waiting for its Box to cycle up.
  2. Clear the last Orange tiles the moment an Orange request appears; they have been waiting since the opening and finally have a home.
  3. Let the funnel and conveyor finish the work. As the final marbles drop, keep the belt cycling and the last Boxes fill on their own.

Level 361 Tips Recap

  • Only feed colors with an open Box: Red and Purple open the level, and Orange, Yellow, and Blue are traps until the rows cycle.
  • Purple is the engine — three requests across the first two rows make it the highest-value color on the board.
  • The conveyor starts pre-loaded with Pink, Yellow, and Blue; let unneeded colors ride instead of forcing them into the queue.
  • In the endgame the grid is nearly empty, so just cycle the belt and feed each last single as its Box comes to the front.
