Marble Sort Level 197 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 197 Board Overview: The Yellow-Capped Left Side

Marble Sort level 197 opening board — The Yellow-Capped Left Side

Level 197 opens with six tubes in the top tray and a wide receiver grid below. The front demand row is generous: Blue, Light Blue, Green, White, Pink, Purple, and a Red-Orange Box all sit ready, so there is plenty to feed in the first few moves.

The left two tubes are the real story. They are packed with Yellow — one is capped with it, the other has Yellow buried mid-stack — with useful Pink, Green, and Red sitting underneath. The middle of the tray carries the White and Light Blue you need for the opening, plus a Purple stack that has no early Box. The far-right tubes are heavy Red and Blue columns that shed their top layers cleanly.

Nothing in the opening demand row asks for Yellow. That mismatch between what the tubes surface and what the Boxes want is the entire challenge of the level.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 197

  • Yellow caps the left tubes: the leftmost tube starts with Yellow on top, and its neighbor hides a second Yellow mid-stack. Every one of those moves parks belt space.
  • No early Yellow Box: the front row asks for Blue, Light Blue, Green, White, Pink, Purple, and Red-Orange — but never Yellow. Yellow’s Boxes only cycle forward in the midgame.
  • Purple rides the middle with nowhere to go: the Purple stack in the center has no Box in the opening row, so reaching the Light Blue beneath it means parking Purple first.
  • The right side is Red and Blue heavy: the far-right tubes are easy to peel early, which is exactly what you want — but resist emptying them so fast that the tray fills with Red.

Marble Sort Level 197 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow the Box order, not the tube order. The front row dictates everything.

Opening: clear the Blue and Light Blue demand

Marble Sort level 197 mid-solve board

  1. Tap a Blue marble from the right side into the first Blue Box — the far-right columns shed cleanly.
  2. Feed the Light Blue marbles from the middle and right into their two front-row Boxes.
  3. Drop the White from the center into the White Box.
  4. Clear the Green from the left-middle tube into the Green Box.
  5. Leave the Yellow caps on the left tubes alone — there is no Yellow Box in the front row.
  6. Keep feeding Blue and Light Blue as the right-hand stacks come apart, and let the Purple stack sit until a Box asks for it.

Midgame: the boxes cycle, the colors shift

Once the front row thins out, the demand row flips to Pink, Blue, and Red, with Pink appearing twice. This is the moment the buried colors become reachable.

  1. Start scraping the Pink out from under the left tubes and feed it to the Pink Boxes.
  2. Pull the Red from the left and right columns into the Red Box.
  3. Now the Yellow caps have a home: park them on the belt and dump them the moment a Yellow Box cycles to the front.
  4. Feed the Purple from the middle tube once its Box slides forward.
  5. Watch for the Orange pair on the right edge — save belt space for it when its Box arrives.

Cleanup: empty the last tubes

  1. By now two tubes are already fully cleared — keep those empties empty instead of reusing them as staging.
  2. Cycle the remaining Light Blue and Green into their late Boxes as they come to the front.
  3. Finish the last Pink, Red, and Orange; the remaining Boxes pull the stragglers down on their own.
  4. Empty tube by tube and the board ends clean — the video closes on the “Level Completed!” reward screen with the Hard rating intact.

Level 197 Tips Recap

  • Yellow is bait: no Yellow Box exists in the opening demand row, so never dump the yellow caps early.
  • The front row leads with Blue, Light Blue, Green, White, Pink, and Purple — feed those before touching the left tubes.
  • The midgame demand flips to Pink, Blue, and Red — that is when you dig under the Yellow caps.
  • Keep cleared tubes empty and feed only to the active front row; the last Boxes finish the board for you.
