Marble Sort Level 267 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 267 Board Overview: The Mystery Row and the Padlocked Tile

Marble Sort level 267 opening board — The Mystery Row and the Padlocked Tile

Level 267 is a Hard tile board, and its opening frame makes the plan obvious: the entire second row of the grid is filled with grey ’?’ mystery marbles. Everything above and below that row is readable, but the middle of the tray is a gamble until you reveal it. The corners of the top row hold four silver wrench marbles, and deeper in the grid sit a purple wrench and a green wrench alongside the solid colors.

The receivers below are where the trouble lives. The front row asks for Light Blue, Orange, Pink, and Dark Blue, with Green, Yellow, Purple, and Red cycling in behind them — but the deepest row hides a locked tile with a padlock. Until a wrench opens it, that whole position refuses to take anything, and the tray cannot fully empty while it is sealed.

The mid-solve frame shows the plan working: the launcher fires marbles into the receiver stacks from a queue that delivers in color batches, the numbered ‘4’ marbles (Light Blue, Pink, and Dark Blue) ride the grid as multi-tile drops, and wooden crates cluster in the lower-right quadrant. By the final frame the board is still mid-solve, with unsorted marbles and a locked tile remaining — this level asks for patience all the way to the last drop.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 267

The board is rigged to make you reveal faster than you can sort. Here is the layout:

  • A full row of mystery ’?’ marbles: six grey ’?’ tiles fill the second row of the grid. You cannot plan the middle of the board until you tap them, so every early reveal is a gamble.
  • A locked tile in the tray: the deepest receiver row has a padlocked position. No marble can land there until a wrench unlocks it, which quietly caps how fast the board drains.
  • Wrench marbles that do double duty: the four silver wrenches at the top corners are your unlock tools, but the purple and green wrench marbles also sit on the grid waiting to be sorted like any other color.
  • Numbered ‘4’ marbles: Light Blue, Pink, and Dark Blue each appear with a ‘4’ marker. They count as several tiles in one drop, so they are worth banking against whichever receiver is front and center.
  • Bait colors everywhere: only Light Blue, Orange, Pink, and Dark Blue have open receivers at the start. Green, Yellow, Purple, and Red wait in the deeper rows — feed them early and the queue jams before the mystery row clears.

Marble Sort Level 267 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: work the corners, bank the markers

Marble Sort level 267 mid-solve board

  1. Feed the front-row colors first: Light Blue, Orange, Pink, and Dark Blue all have open receivers, so drop every visible tile of those four.
  2. Bank the numbered ‘4’ marbles (Light Blue, Pink, Dark Blue) as soon as a matching receiver sits open — each one clears several tiles in a single drop.
  3. Route the top-corner silver wrench marbles toward the locked tray tile. Unlocking the padlock early is the single biggest lever on the board.
  4. Start peeling the mystery ’?’ row one tile at a time. If the reveal matches an open receiver, drop it; if not, leave the column and come back.
  5. Do not feed Green, Yellow, Purple, or Red yet — their receivers sit in the deeper rows and are not live at the opening.

Midgame: unlock the padlock and clear the crates

By the middle of the solve the tray has thinned, the launcher is firing, and the queue delivers in color batches. The deepest row finally opens, and the lower-right quadrant is crowded with wooden crates to play around.

  1. Once the locked tile is unlocked, feed the first color it accepts — the deepest row finally starts draining and the board’s exit opens.
  2. Play the purple and green wrench marbles into their matching receivers when those colors cycle to the front.
  3. Reveal the remaining mystery marbles still riding the grid; drop every reveal that matches a live receiver and leave the rest.
  4. Work the lower-right quadrant carefully — the crates sit among the last Dark Blues and Oranges, so peel the open colors around them instead of forcing the blockage.
  5. Feed the queue in its batches. The channels deliver colors in groups, so a full matching run empties several receiver stacks in one pass and clears queue space fast.

Cleanup: cycle the queue to the last drop

With the grid nearly empty, the level becomes a straight finishing line — but the video’s final frame still shows unsorted marbles in the tray, a feeder queue still cycling, and the locked tile not yet cleared.

  1. Play only to the active front row. The last Light Blues, Pinks, and Lime Greens feed as their receivers slide forward; ignore colors whose receivers have already closed.
  2. Keep the queue moving: batches of White, Blue, Yellow, Lime Green, and Pink ride the channels, so let matching runs stack instead of forcing single drops.
  3. Treat the endgame like the opening — reveal, match, and wait. The remaining mystery marbles and the padlocked tile need the same patience, and the level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 267 Tips Recap

  • Reveal the mystery row one tile at a time and only play reveals that match an open receiver — never stack a plan on a color you cannot see.
  • Unlock the padlocked tray tile with the silver wrenches as early as you can; the board cannot fully drain while it is sealed.
  • Bank the numbered ‘4’ marbles against open receivers — they pay several tiles in one drop.
  • Feed only live colors and take the queue in batches; the endgame is just patience with the last singles and the final mystery reveals.
