Marble Sort Level 269 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 269 Board Overview: The Numbered Corners

Level 269 is a block-variant board that hides most of its plan at first glance. The Top Tray runs six columns deep, and the two outer columns are sealed under numbered “4” crates — chunky blocks that pay out several tiles each once you break them. Between them, four grey ’?’ mystery boxes blanket the middle of the top row, so the opening board is half guessing game.
Below the mystery row the visible tiles are Yellow, Pink, Brown, Purple, Light Blue, and Brown, and the third row is more of the same: five more ’?’ boxes with a single light-blue slot already open at column three — your one safe tap on the opening board. The base row finishes with an Orange tile at the left, a run of numbered crates (“3”, “3”, “2”, “2”) across the middle, and a Blue tile on the right.
The receivers sit below the tray: a wide grid of empty slots waiting for the drops, with the collector stacks already holding a few Green, Brown, Pink, and White tiles and a grey ’?’ crate riding one of the stacks. Two colors stand out immediately — Purple and Light Blue have no receiver in sight, so they are bait until the boxes cycle.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 269
- The corners are locked behind “4” crates: the two outer columns each hide several tiles behind a numbered block. They are the biggest single payouts on the board, but breaking them early floods the conveyor before the Boxes are ready.
- Mystery ’?’ boxes cover the middle: eight of them blanket the top and third rows. Every reveal is a gamble, so never chain a reveal onto a color that has no Box.
- Purple and Light Blue look receiver-less: both sit in the second row with nowhere to go at the start. Tap them early and the belt jams.
- The base-row numbered crates gate the bottom: the “3” and “2” blocks across the bottom row hold the lower half of the board hostage until you commit to breaking them.
Marble Sort Level 269 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Reveal, then commit. Follow the release order.
Opening: take the one open slot, then reveal

- Tap the empty light-blue slot at column three of the third row — it is the only slot that opens a tile with zero risk.
- Feed the Yellow tiles into a Yellow Box the moment one cycles to the front; Yellow appears twice in the second row.
- Work the Brown tiles — two sit in the second row — into the Brown Box as it comes up.
- Start revealing the ’?’ mystery boxes one at a time. Drop any tile whose color has an open Box; leave the rest on the tray.
- Do not touch the corner “4” crates yet, and keep Purple and Light Blue off the conveyor until their Boxes slide into the front row.
- Tap the base-row Orange into an Orange Box when one opens — it is the only fully visible color on the bottom edge.
Midgame: break the numbered blocks
By the midgame the tray has opened up: the middle columns are thinning, the mystery row is mostly gone, and the remaining crates now read “1” and “2” — the big “4” blocks have been whittled down to their last tiles. The receivers have cycled and are now filling stacks of Orange, Brown, Light Blue, and Dark Blue, with a ’?’ crate riding one stack.
- Break the corner “4” crates once their colors have open Boxes — each one pays several tiles into the front row at once.
- Prioritize the columns that expose two matching tiles in a row; clearing them empties a column and opens the tray.
- Feed the Dark Blue tiles as they surface — Dark Blue clusters in the lower columns and arrives in runs.
- Tap the numbered “1” and “2” crates in the base row as soon as their colors match the active Box.
- When a mystery ’?’ crate rides the conveyor, treat it as unknown: do not stack a combo on it, only play it when its reveal matches the front Box.
Cleanup: feed the stragglers
The end frame shows the tray stripped down to a few lone crates above the conveyor — a red crate, a yellow crate, and a purple crate — with the feed tray still carrying Red, Purple, Yellow, Orange, and Blue tiles plus one blue “4” block. The conveyor controls read “1” and “0”, meaning only one or zero tiles remain behind each feed point.
- Every remaining crate is a single delivery — play only to the active front row and let the conveyor cycle the last colors.
- Bank the blue “4” block into the Blue Box when it reaches the front; it finishes a stack in one pass.
- Do not chase Purple if its Box has already closed — let the queue bring it back around.
- Finish the final Boxes as the stragglers drop and let the tray empty.

Level 269 Tips Recap
- The opening board has exactly one safe tap — the pre-opened light-blue slot in the middle row. Everything else is a reveal or a numbered block.
- Purple and Light Blue are bait until their Boxes cycle: never park a receiver-less color on the conveyor.
- Numbered crates pay several tiles at once — break them into the front row, not into an empty belt.
- In the endgame, feed only the active front row and let the last crates finish the stacks on their own.
