Marble Sort Level 251 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 251 Board Overview: The Mystery Stone Grid

Level 251 plays out on a seven-column tile grid with four receiver Box columns waiting below. The board is stocked with Light Blue, Purple, Green, Red, and Yellow marbles, and the opening shot of the level is a puzzle inside the puzzle: four gray mystery stones stamped with a ”?” are planted in the top-center and middle rows, with two ribbon-locked crates buried in the lower rows and a green x2 multiplier tile sitting at the bottom center.
The first Box layers lean on the left side of the palette. The left-most Box column wants Light Blue, Light Blue, Green, and Yellow from the bottom up; the second mixes Blue, Purple, and Yellow; the third is all Green with a Purple cap; and the fourth leads with Yellow, Red, Blue, and Blue. That spread means Light Blue, Green, and Yellow are the safe early releases while the box columns rotate.
By the time the mid-solve frame appears, the board has shifted hard: the far-left and far-right Boxes both ask for Purple, the middle-left asks for Red, and the middle-right asks for Light Blue. A five-marble Purple cluster is exploding right over the x2 tile, and the queue is already feeding Green, Red, Light Blue, and Yellow. The final frame catches the run just short of the finish: the top two rows still hold Light Blue, Purple, and Red tiles behind gold-bow crates, with a queue of Red, Green, and Purple waiting below.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 251
- Four mystery stones own the middle. The ”?” blocks sit right where the most useful Light Blue and Green matches want to happen. They only break when you match marbles directly adjacent to them, so the center of the grid stays dead until you work around it.
- Gold-bow crates hide the late-game colors. The ribbon-locked blocks pin down Red and Green deeper in the board. Like the mystery stones, they need adjacent matches to open, and tapping a locked tile by itself does nothing.
- The palette outruns the Boxes. Red and Purple have no active home in the opening layers. Chase them early and the queue jams while the Light Blue and Green boxes sit half full.
- The x2 tile rewards patience. That multiplier at the bottom center is a trap if you dump random colors on it and a gift if you save a full cluster for it.
Marble Sort Level 251 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Play the rim, then the stones, then the crates. Here is the release order that matches the video.
Opening: crack the mystery stones

- Start with the Light Blue marbles along the top and left edge — the left-most Box column asks for Light Blue first.
- Match the Greens clustered in the middle band of the grid; the third Box column is all Green for its first two layers.
- Aim every early Light Blue and Green match at the tiles sitting next to a ”?” stone so the mystery blocks chip away as you clear.
- Feed Yellow into the box stacks that want it (the left and second columns) whenever a Yellow marble is reachable.
- Do not commit Red or Purple yet — neither color has an active Box in the opening layers, and both get stuck in the queue.
Midgame: break the locked crates
- Once the mystery stones are gone, turn on the two ribbon-locked crates in the lower rows.
- Break each lock by matching the marble color that sits directly beside the crate — adjacent matches are the only thing that opens them.
- When the front Box row rotates to Purple and Red, start releasing those colors from the top of the board.
- Line up the Purple cluster over the x2 tile at the bottom center before popping it. In the video’s mid-solve frame, a five-marble Purple explosion clears the doubled match and fills both the far-left and far-right Purple Boxes at once.
- Feed the Reds from the top-right quadrant into the middle-left Red Box, which sits three blocks deep by the midgame.
- Keep the queue breathing: only release a color whose Box is in the active front row, and let the Light Blue and Yellow rows pass through without hoarding.
Cleanup: clear the top rim
- The last tiles settle into the top two rows: Light Blue, Purple, and Red held behind gold-bow crates.
- Match the remaining Light Blues in the corners to finish the middle-right Light Blue Box.
- The waiting queue is heavy with Red, Green, and Purple — hold releases until a matching Box slides to the front, then feed it.
- Every match adjacent to a remaining ribbon crate frees another trapped tile, so keep your cleanup matches hugging the crates.
- Play conservatively from here: the video ends with only a few top-row tiles left, and a patient sequence clears the rest without wasting a single tap.

Level 251 Tips Recap
- Mystery ”?” stones only break when you match marbles right next to them, so keep early Light Blue and Green matches hugging the center.
- Gold-bow crates work the same way — never tap a locked tile expecting it to free itself.
- Save the Purple cluster for the x2 tile at the bottom center; one doubled match can clear two Boxes.
- When the queue is full of Red, Green, and Purple, only release a color whose Box is in the active front row.
