Marble Sort Level 234 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 234 Board Overview: The Chain-Sealed Tray

Level 234 is a Hard board, and it opens on the tile/block-grid variant rather than plain tubes. At the top sit three receiver Boxes, and every one of them asks for a single Green tile — nothing else has anywhere to go on the opening board.
The tray itself is a square-tile grid sealed in two directions at once. Most columns are capped by grey mystery ’?’ tiles that hide what sits underneath, and a padlocked chain runs across the middle of the tray, locking the center out of reach. The lower half of the grid is packed with oversized crate tiles — two dark red/crimson crates, a yellow crate, and a dark orange/brown crate — filling the grey slots and walling off part of the board. A yellow key tile waits under a mystery tile near the left edge, and the queue ribbon at the bottom is already loaded with a stream of colored tiles.
Only Green matters at first. The visible columns also hold Purple, teal, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Light Blue, and Yellow, but none of those colors have a Box yet — feed them early and the queue jams before the first Green Box closes.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 234
The board is rigged to make you feed colors that have no home. Here is the layout:
- Only Green has Boxes: all three opening receivers want a single Green tile each. Every other visible color is bait until the Boxes cycle.
- The chain lock seals the middle: a padlocked chain runs across the center of the tray, and it stays put well into the solve. You cannot reach past it early, so the opening is played in the outer rows.
- Mystery ’?’ tiles cap most columns: most stacks start hidden, so every early reveal is a gamble. A reveal only matters if its color matches an open Box.
- Crate tiles wall off the lower grid: the oversized dark red/crimson, yellow, and dark orange/brown crates fill the lower grey slots and block the path toward the queue side of the board.
- The key tile is a trap of its own: the yellow key tile hides under a mystery tile in the left column and still sits on the board at the midgame — it is not an early pickup, so do not force it.
Marble Sort Level 234 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Feed the color that has Boxes and let the board open itself. Follow the release order.
Opening: feed only Green

- Tap the visible Green tiles straight into the Green Boxes — each Box takes exactly one tile.
- Keep the queue moving: only release Green, since it is the only color with open receivers.
- Peel the mystery ’?’ tiles one column at a time. If the reveal matches a Green Box, drop it; if not, leave the column and move on.
- Treat Purple, teal, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Light Blue, Yellow, and Orange as bait — no Boxes exist for them yet, so never park them on the belt.
- Play the top rows and the outer edges. The chain lock seals the center of the tray, so the opening is a rim game by design.
- Do not touch the crate tiles or the key tile yet — the sealed center makes the lower grid a dead end until the tray clears.
Midgame: keep the reveals honest
By the middle of the solve the three Green Boxes are still open — each one down to its final slot — and the obstacles have barely moved. The mystery tiles still cap the columns, the chain lock still runs across the tray, and the crimson crates still fill the lower grid. The queue, meanwhile, is running heavily toward reds and oranges with a full lane of white tiles behind them.
- Finish the three Green Boxes as soon as the last Green reveals or rides the queue — closing them is what starts the Box rotation.
- When a new color finally cycles into the front row, feed it immediately from the queue; batches of matching tiles finish a Box in one pass.
- Keep revealing ’?’ tiles one at a time. A column that reveals two matching tiles in a row is your best target — it empties a stack and opens the tray.
- Treat the chain lock and the crates as permanent until the late game. Nothing you do early clears them, so plan around them instead of through them.
- Never tap a queue tile whose color has no open Box — the ribbon jams and the level stalls.
Cleanup: ride the queue home
The end frame shows the tray stripped down to a handful of tiles: a few scattered blocks in the upper grid, the receivers cycling through Green, Blue, Pink, and Orange, and the queue delivering final Green, Pink, and Orange batches with Pink tiles already falling through the funnel.
- Play only to the active front row. The last Boxes ask for Green, Blue, Pink, and Orange — feed exactly those as they open.
- Let the queue cycle: the Green, Pink, and Orange batches ride the ribbon together, so finish each Box in a single pass.
- Drop the few remaining grid stragglers into their matching Boxes as the funnel empties.
- Do not chase colors whose receivers have already closed — the level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 234 Tips Recap
- Green is the only color with receivers at the start — feed nothing else until the Boxes cycle.
- Mystery ’?’ tiles cap most columns: reveal them one at a time and only drop a reveal that matches an open Box.
- The chain lock seals the middle of the tray all the way into the midgame — play the outer rows and never force the center.
- In the endgame, ride the queue’s matching batches (Green, Pink, Orange) and let the few remaining stragglers drop into the last Boxes.
