Marble Sort Level 146 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 146 Board Overview: The Split Tray

Level 146 does not give you one open board — it gives you two halves. A deep left section holds most of the marbles, while a shallower right section sits behind a row of lock tiles that keep its top rows sealed until you earn the keys. Between them, a conveyor queue feeds a steady stream of fresh marbles into play.
The left section is heavy with Green, Purple, White, Yellow, and Cyan, and several of its left-column slots are sealed under wooden crates that only release their contents after you clear what sits in front of them. The right section is where the late-game colors live: Pink, Grey, Brown, and Blue wait behind the locks, along with more Green.
The four receiver boxes at the bottom open with a straightforward request set — Red, Green, Purple, and Cyan — so the board rewards you for emptying the visible left side first. The boxes cycle to new colors as you fill them, and the trap is rushing the locked right section before its colors have homes.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 146
- Locked top-right corner: the top rows of the right section are sealed by lock tiles. Tapping them before you can actually use their colors jams your conveyor.
- Crate column on the left: the leftmost column is stacked with crates that hide marbles underneath. Clearing them early is fine, but only if the revealed colors match a live box.
- Conveyor overflow: the belt spawns long runs of White and Grey. Neither has a box at the start, so every one you pull from the tray is a slot you cannot use.
- Box cycling: the four boxes switch colors as they fill. A color with no box right now can get one two taps later — patience beats panic.
The level wants you to drain the left section into the boxes, then unlock the right section as its colors come up in the rotation. Do the reverse and you run out of room before the board opens up.
Marble Sort Level 146 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Sort the left half first, then earn the right half. The exact positions shift as boxes cycle, but the order below is the safe line through the level.
Opening: drain the left section

- Tap the accessible Yellow and Green marbles near the top of the left section into the Yellow and Green boxes as soon as they appear.
- Feed the Purple and Cyan marbles you can reach — both have boxes early, so they are your fastest clears.
- Leave the White and Grey marbles alone; there is no box for them in the opening rotation.
- Work the left section top-down so the crates in the left column start to release their contents.
- Clear the crate contents into their matching boxes right away — the crates free up slots that the conveyor needs.
- Keep the conveyor moving: every marble you park on the belt is one fewer slot for the next batch.
Midgame: the crates open and the boxes cycle
Once the first wave of Red, Green, Purple, and Cyan boxes clears, the four boxes cycle to a new set — Purple, Green, Brown, and Purple in the middle stretch. This is when the locked right section becomes useful.
- Wait for the lock tiles on the right section to clear, then open the top rows one at a time.
- Drop the Brown marbles from the right section into the Brown box — it appears in the midgame rotation and disappears fast.
- Feed the Pink and Blue marbles as their boxes cycle into view; neither stays available for long.
- Use the White and Grey stragglers only when a box finally asks for them, and only then.
- Re-check the left section for any marbles the crates were hiding, and finish those columns completely.
Cleanup: funnel the stragglers
By the end, the tray is nearly empty and only a handful of colors remain — typically Yellow, Green, Pink, Grey, and Blue holding the last slots of each section.
- Pair the remaining marbles off into their boxes two or three at a time, top to bottom.
- If two boxes ask for the same color, fill the one closest to the tray first to shorten the drop.
- When only one or two colors are left, tap them straight down — no staging needed.
- Use the final conveyor arrivals only if they match a box that is still open; otherwise let them pass.
- Close out each box completely before moving to the next — a half-filled box is a dead slot in the endgame.

Level 146 Tips Recap
- The right section is locked for a reason: ignore it until the boxes actually ask for Pink, Grey, Brown, or Blue.
- White and Grey are conveyor bait in the opening — resist them until a box cycles in.
- Clear the left column’s crates as the center empties; their hidden marbles are usually the key to the midgame.
- In the endgame, finish boxes one at a time so every filled box frees a drop lane instead of blocking one.
