Marble Sort Level 425 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 425 Board Overview: The Half-Hidden Tray

Level 425 opens as a packed, six-column tile grid where most of the board is a secret. Grey ’?’ mystery tiles sit inside the stacks in at least nine spots, and two wooden crates are planted mid-column — one X-braced crate near the top of its stack, a second diagonal-plank crate lower in another — sealing whatever tiles ride beneath them. You can see maybe half of what you are about to play.
What is visible is a clean spread of early colors: White shows up in nearly every column, backed by Blue and Light Blue, with Purple, Red, Pink, Yellow, Orange, and Dark Grey scattered through the stack faces. The bottom queue starts the run with a double Orange followed by a double Purple, and more tiles — including mystery tiles — sit behind them waiting to cycle in.
The receiver rows decide the pace. Early completions run to Brown, Green, Purple, Dark Red, and Light Pink as those colors surface from under the hidden layer, with Yellow, Pink, and a second Brown stretch finishing the clean-up. Nothing about the opening is a straight line: reveal, feed, and let the tray empty itself.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 425
The board is rigged to make you commit before you can see. Here is the layout:
- Half the tray is hidden: mystery ’?’ tiles cap the stacks and hide deeper in the columns, so an early tap can surface a color you have no place for.
- Two wooden crates seal real tiles: the X crate and the diagonal crate sit inside the columns, burying their neighbors until the tiles around them clear.
- The queue opens with doubles: Orange, Orange, Purple, Purple ride the belt first. Doubles are tempting, but only feed a color whose receiver row is live — parking the pair on the belt jams the cycle.
- White, Blue, and Light Blue are the honest openers: they sit out in the open across the columns. Everything else arrives as a reveal.
Marble Sort Level 425 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Reveal in small doses and feed what you can place. Follow the release order.
Opening: peel the visible layer

- Start with the White tiles scattered across the columns — they are the safest taps on the board and thin the stacks without risk.
- Feed the Blue and Light Blue tiles into their rows as they free up; they cluster near the bottom of the grid.
- When a Red, Pink, or Yellow tile is reachable, hold it until its receiver row slides to the front — these colors arrive as singles, not runs.
- Leave the crates alone for now. Clear the tiles above and beside them; the columns around them are your access to the hidden layer.
- Ignore the double Orange and double Purple at the front of the queue until a matching row opens. Let the belt cycle.
Midgame: ride the reveals
By the middle of the solve the grid is visibly thinner and the hidden layer has surfaced. The Brown row is the first to complete with its star marker, followed by full Green, Purple, Dark Red, and Light Pink rows. The remaining columns hold a few Purples, a small pile of Blues, a couple of Light Blues, a lone Brown and Yellow, a Dark Grey, and mystery tiles still capping the tops of several columns.
- Feed the revealed Brown tiles immediately — the Brown row finishes first and unlocks the pace of the level.
- Chase the Green, Purple, Dark Red, and Light Pink rows in the order their tiles surface. Purples sit in two spots at once, so clear both piles when the row is live.
- Work the top of each column next; several columns still end in ’?’ tiles at this stage, and every one of those caps hides a playable color.
- Keep the Blue and Light Blue stragglers moving — they pair up from opposite columns and finish fast once the top row thins.
- Do not strand a last-column reveal: if a mystery tile would surface a color whose row has already closed, clear a different column first and come back.
Cleanup: finish the stragglers
With the tray nearly empty, the level becomes a singles game. A final Brown, a Yellow, a Dark Grey, and the last mystery caps ride out the remaining rows, and the end frame confirms the win with a “Level Completed!” screen.
- Play only to the live front row from here — Yellow, Pink, and the second Brown stretch each fill two of three marbles before their final taps.
- Let the queue do the work: cycle past colors whose rows have closed and take every tile the moment its row is active.
- Clear the last mystery caps one at a time; each reveal drops straight into a waiting row.
- Feed the final tiles and the tray empties. The level completes as the last marbles land.

Level 425 Tips Recap
- Sight is the resource: only reveal a mystery tile when its color has a live row — half the board is a gamble until you peel it.
- The crates postpone, they do not cancel: clear their columns and the buried tiles join the midgame swing.
- Brown leads the pace — completing it first unlocks the Green, Purple, Dark Red, and Light Pink rows that follow.
- The endgame is all singles: never chase a closed row; cycle the queue and take tiles as their rows come to the front.
