Marble Sort Level 140 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 140 Board Overview: The Mystery-Tile Ceiling

Marble Sort level 140 opening board — The Mystery-Tile Ceiling

Level 140 opens with the top of the board hidden: mystery ”?” tiles cover the first rows of the tray, so you cannot see what you are digging toward. Only the lower rows show their colors — Blue, Orange, Gray, Pink, Green, Cyan, Yellow, Purple, and Brown peek out beneath the question marks.

The front row of receiver Boxes asks for Cyan, Pink, Brown, and Cyan, and the Conveyor Belt is already packed with Cyan marbles, plus a couple of Pink. That is the level’s opening rhythm in a nutshell: the mystery tiles hide the plan, but the belt tells you what to do first.

Three numbered “4” tiles sit in the second row, each holding a Blue marble. Treat them as part of the puzzle — the Blue inside each one is real cargo, not decoration.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 140

The mystery-tile ceiling is the whole difficulty:

  • 18 mystery tiles cap the top of the board. Every tap under them is a gamble until you clear the rows below and see what was hidden.
  • The numbered “4” tiles hold Blue marbles in the second row. They look special, but their Blue is ordinary — and the opening Boxes do not ask for Blue.
  • Brown sits on the left and Purple on the bottom middle, and neither has a Box early. Reaching them means parking dead weight on the belt.
  • The conveyor leads with Cyan. If you grab anything else first, the Cyan flood has nowhere to go.

The board wants you to dig upward into the unknown. Instead, play what the belt feeds you.

Marble Sort Level 140 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Opening: ride the Cyan wave

Marble Sort level 140 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Cyan marbles the belt delivers into the two front-row Cyan Boxes. The queue is almost all Cyan, so this clears fast.
  2. Collect the visible Cyan in the lower tray, beneath the mystery tiles, to feed the second Cyan Box.
  3. Take the Pink that follows on the belt into the Pink Box.
  4. Drop the Brown marble from the lower-left column once its Box is in front.
  5. Keep clearing the front row only. Do not chase Blue from the numbered tiles or the Purple at the bottom — no Boxes ask for them yet.

Midgame: the green shift

Once the front row clears, the belt changes. It starts feeding Green, and the Boxes re-roll toward Purple, Green, White, Orange, and Pink.

  1. Let the mystery tiles above the emptied columns drop as you clear below — their hidden marbles land where you can finally see them.
  2. Feed the Green wave as it arrives; the midgame Boxes ask for Green on both sides of the tray.
  3. Take Purple, White, and Orange as their Boxes slide to the front, using the space the Cyan clear-out created.
  4. Leave the remaining mystery tiles alone until their column has a Box in front. A hidden marble is only useful when you know its color.

Cleanup: the Yellow and Orange finish

Late in the level the belt flips again, now delivering Yellow and then a long run of Orange.

  1. Place the Yellow marbles into the Yellow Box as they come.
  2. Let the Orange run stack up in the queue and feed it steadily — the final Boxes want Orange.
  3. Finish with Pink, Green, and Blue: clear the last visible marbles and let the remaining ”?” receivers pull the stragglers down.
  4. Do not overthink the last few ”?” tiles at the bottom of the tray — they reveal what they need as the final colors land.

Level 140 Tips Recap

  • The mystery tiles hide the top of the board — win by playing the conveyor, not by guessing what sits under a ”?”.
  • The belt is your roadmap: Cyan first, then Green, then the Yellow and Orange finish.
  • Blue from the numbered “4” tiles is real, but wait until a Blue Box appears.
  • Leave the last ”?” tiles for the endgame; they fill themselves as the final colors cycle through.
