Marble Sort Level 357 Walkthrough & Solution

Board Overview

Marble Sort level 357 opening board

Level 357 is a Hard board on the tile-grid variant of Marble Sort. The tray holds eight uneven columns of stacked tiles — the left side runs tall at five tiles deep, then the heights step down toward the right until the columns shrink to single tiles. The receiver row above the drop zone opens asking for just four colors: Green, Orange, Yellow, and White. Everything else on the tray is working material waiting for its own Box to cycle in.

The board is decorated with special tiles that decide the early game. A numbered release marker — a yellow tile marked with a 3 — sits over the tall stacks on the left, ready to dump several tiles at once the moment its column clears. A grey ’?’ mystery tile hides somewhere in the middle columns, and a padlocked White tile caps a short column on the right side of the tray. Underneath it all, the conveyor belt is already running before you make your first move: the front of the queue carries Green pairs followed by a long Pink run, with a heavy Orange block loading in behind.

The trap of the level is that the belt hands you more supply than the opening Boxes can take. Green and Orange have homes from the very first second — the lone Green column far right is the safest tap on the board — but the long Pink run and most of the buried Blue, Red, and Purple families have no receiver yet. Read the front row, feed the four open colors, and treat every special tile as a gate that opens on your schedule, not the game’s.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 357

The board is rigged to make you feed the belt faster than the Boxes can clear. Here is the layout:

  • Only Green, Orange, Yellow, and White have Boxes at the start: the receiver row opens on exactly those four colors. The Blue, Red, Pink, and Purple families buried across the middle stacks have nowhere to go until the Boxes cycle, so parking one on the belt jams the queue.
  • The conveyor is pre-loaded with bait: the front of the belt already carries Green pairs and then a long run of Pinks, with a heavy Orange block behind. Orange is safe from the start; the Pinks are not — they will keep coming whether or not a Pink Box is open.
  • A numbered ‘3’ marker caps the left stacks: tapping it releases several tiles at once. That sounds like a gift, but if its colors have no open receiver the belt takes the whole hit at once.
  • A grey ’?’ mystery tile hides mid-board: you cannot plan a drop around a color you have not seen. Tap it at the wrong moment and a surprise color with no Box stalls the run.
  • A padlocked White tile blocks the right side: White is one of the four opening colors, yet one White is frozen behind a padlock. Until that lock breaks, you are one target color short, so freeing it is early progress, not optional cleanup.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Feed the open colors and let the special tiles unlock on your terms. Follow the release order.

Opening: clear the four colors with homes

  1. Tap the lone Green tile at the far right of the tray — Green sits in the opening receiver row and the column is one tile tall, making it the cleanest drop on the board.
  2. Let the Green pair already riding the front of the conveyor land in the Green Box to keep the early clears stacking up.
  3. Feed Orange as the heavy Orange block cycles up from the queue — it has a Box open from the start, and clearing it in runs empties the belt fast.
  4. Do not tap the Pink run that follows the Greens on the belt. No Pink Box is open at the start, and the queue will feed Pinks regardless of what you do.
  5. Work the Yellow and White tiles you can reach into their matching Boxes, but only from the top of a column — never skip into the middle of a stack.
  6. Leave the Blue, Red, and Purple families alone. They sit in the tall left and center columns with no receiver open yet, and every one you park costs you belt space.

Midgame: bank the marker and free the lock

Once the opening Boxes start to clear, the middle of the board becomes reachable and the special tiles turn from hazards into value.

  1. Clear the tall left stacks down to the numbered ‘3’ marker, then tap it the moment one of its colors has a live Box in the front row — it pays several tiles into that Box in a single drop.
  2. Reveal the grey ’?’ mystery tile only when you can afford whatever is underneath. If the reveal matches an open Box, drop it immediately; if not, leave the column and come back after the Boxes cycle.
  3. Break the padlock on the White tile as soon as the mechanism unlocks, then finish the White Box — closing out a full opening color gives the receiver row room to rotate.
  4. As the first four colors complete, the Boxes cycle and the buried families finally get homes. Catch each new color as its Box opens and drain the stacks from the top down.
  5. Take the belt in runs: when a single color batches up on the conveyor, feed the whole batch into its open Box in one pass to clear serious queue space.

Cleanup: drain the stragglers

The closing frames of the run show the tray still mid-solve with no victory screen — the tall stacks have thinned to short columns and the final tiles are still working their way down.

  1. Play only to the receiver Boxes that are still open. A tile whose color has already finished has no home left, so let it cycle past on the belt.
  2. Peel the remaining short columns one tile at a time from the top. The last Greens, Oranges, Yellows, and Whites finish in short runs as their Boxes reach the front.
  3. Keep the queue moving and let the final singles drop into place. The level ends the moment the last tile lands in its Box — there is no reward frame in the footage, so do not stall waiting for one.

Tips Recap

  • The opening receiver row is the whole early game: Green, Orange, Yellow, and White are the only colors you may feed until the Boxes cycle.
  • Never tap the pre-loaded Pink run — the belt supplies it whether a Pink Box is open or not, and parking it jams the queue.
  • Bank the ‘3’ release marker and reveal the ’?’ mystery tile only when their colors match a live front-row Box.
  • Free the padlocked White tile early — it completes an opening color and gives the receiver row room to rotate.
