Marble Sort Level 163 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 163 Board Overview: The Green Ceiling

Level 163 opens with the same color capping all five columns of the tray: Green. Five Green tiles seal the entire top row, and yet not one of the six receiver Boxes on the opening board asks for Green. The tray is completely capped until the conveyor cycles in a Green demand, so the first phase of the level is about playing the belt, not the board.
Beneath that ceiling the columns split into useful colors and one problem tile. Reading left to right, the tray holds Green over Purple over Purple, Green over Red over Purple, Green over a locked Blue tile over Orange, Green over Red over Orange, and Green over Red over Brown. The centerpiece is that locked Blue tile in the middle column — stamped with a Yellow key symbol — sitting directly on top of an Orange.
The opening conveyor is a row of ten waiting tiles in pairs: Brown, Brown, Orange, Orange, Purple, Purple, Gray, Gray, White, White. The Boxes ask for Red, Orange, Purple, Brown, Gray, and Cyan — nothing else. The mismatch between what the tray wants to give you and what the Boxes will accept is the whole challenge of Level 163.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 163
Level 163’s opening board is rigged to stall you:
- The Green ceiling: all five columns cap with Green and no Green Box exists at the start. You cannot legally move a single top-row tile until the belt delivers a Green demand, so your opening moves come from the queue pairs instead.
- The locked Blue tile: the middle column’s second tile is a Blue tile locked behind a Yellow key. It blocks the Orange beneath it and stays put until you collect the key midgame.
- Red shortage: the six Boxes want five Reds across three receivers, but the tray starts with only three — each buried mid-column in the right half of the tray. Save Reds and let the refilled belt top you up.
- Bait tiles: the White pair rides the conveyor with no White Box in sight, and one of the two Gray queue tiles is surplus — the Brown Box wants a single Gray. Neither belongs in your hand early.
The board wants you to scrape the top row first because it is right there. Do that and the game stalls instantly on the Green ceiling.
Marble Sort Level 163 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Work the queue, not the tray. The opening conveyor is your only legal feed, and its pairs arrive in a fixed order.
Opening: feed the conveyor pairs

- Take the first two Brown tiles off the belt and drop them into the Brown Box (Brown, Brown, Gray).
- Follow with the Orange pair: both go into the far-right Orange Box (Orange, Orange, Cyan).
- Send the Purple pair into the Purple Box (Purple, Purple, Red) to complete it.
- Now that the front of the belt has cleared, feed a single Gray tile into the Gray slot of the Brown Box; leave the second Gray on the belt.
- Do not touch the White pair or any tray tile yet — Green, Blue, and White all have no legal Box.
- Resist the tray’s own Oranges and Reds for now; the ones under the Red in column four and under the locked Blue are reserved for the midgame.
Midgame: unlock the middle and cycle the queue
Once the opening pairs clear, the conveyor refills with fresh colors and the tray finally starts moving. This is where the level opens up.
- Watch the belt for the key — collecting it unlocks the Blue tile in the middle column and exposes the Orange hidden underneath.
- When a Green pair arrives on the belt, a Green Box has cycled to the front row. Only now are the top-row Greens legal: peel them one column at a time.
- Free the tray Reds from the right-side columns as their receivers cycle in. The Boxes want five Reds, so let the belt supply the extras.
- Drop the Orange that was trapped under the locked tile, plus the one from column four, into their Boxes.
- Work the Purples out of the left columns into the remaining Purple and Red slots.
- The first and last Boxes both finish with a Cyan slot — the belt delivers those late; wait for them instead of forcing anything.
Cleanup: finish the cascade
With the key spent and the queue cycling, the board clears itself as long as you stay disciplined.
- Play only colors whose Box is currently on the front row of receivers — never dump a tile onto the belt that has nowhere to go.
- Let the refilled queue feed the last Reds, Greens, and Blues you need rather than hoarding tray tiles.
- Complete each Box fully before moving to the next; the empties cascade through the tray and the final board resolves into a clean sweep.
- When the last tile drops, the completion screen appears with the coin bonus — the level is cleared.

Level 163 Tips Recap
- The five Green caps are illegal until a Green Box cycles in — never fight the ceiling.
- The locked Blue tile needs its key and hides an Orange you will want later.
- The opening belt is your first feed: Brown, Orange, Purple, then a single Gray.
- When the queue refills, let it supply Reds, Greens, and the late Cyan slots instead of hoarding tray tiles for Boxes that are not on the front row.
