Marble Sort Level 157 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 157 Board Overview: The Mystery Field

Level 157 is a Hard stage that refuses to show you its hand. The opening board is a dense field of gray mystery tiles and wooden crate tiles with keyholes, with only a handful of colored tiles revealed. You cannot plan a clean route until the board starts giving up its secrets.
What you can see from the start matters more than what you can’t. Revealed colored tiles include Red, Purple, Blue and Cyan, Orange, Green, White, Yellow, and Teal, scattered across the tray edges and the top of the board. The conveyor queue feeding the tray carries a sequence built around Red, Blue, White, Pink, Yellow, Teal, and Purple — so those are the colors the early game wants to move.
On the sides, the receiver bins are split between open targets and locked ones. The open bins ask for Red, Green, Purple, and Teal; the locked bins carry a keyhole and will not accept anything until you spend a key. You start with exactly one key, so every crate you open has to be the right one.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 157
The mystery tiles are not just hiding colors — they are hiding the order of the whole solve. Here is the layout to respect:
- Locked crate tiles sit inside the tray and on the receiver rails. A crate in the tray hides the column behind it; a crate on the bin rail locks a whole target out. Both want your single key.
- The conveyor is Red-heavy. The queue feeds Red, Red-heavy chains, and Purple constantly. Feed them only when a Red or Purple bin is actually at the front.
- One key, many crates. You cannot unlock everything. Every mystery tile you reveal either gives you a useful color or hands you one more reason to hold off.
- Teal and Green bins sit on the rails but are easy to ignore. Their targets are there at the start, but the tray barely produces them early — treat them as late-game releases.
The board wants you to crack open every crate and chase every visible tile at once. Do that and you waste your key on a crate that was never the blocker. Instead, treat the mystery field as a color-by-color reveal: expose one family, feed its bin, and only then touch a keyhole.
Marble Sort Level 157 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order.
Opening: reveal in controlled batches

- Start with the revealed Red tiles on the tray. Drop them into the front-line Red bin while it is open.
- Feed the Purple tiles the same way — the open Purple bin is your second reliable target.
- Tap the Blue and Cyan tiles revealed on the edges into their rail bin as they come off the queue.
- Let the White, Pink, and Yellow tiles ride the conveyor and stay parked; none of those bins are urgent in the opening.
- As mystery tiles flip over, only pick up the colors whose bin is already at the front of the rail. Leave every other newly revealed tile alone.
- Do not spend your key in the opening. No single crate yet is blocking a bin you actually need.
Midgame: feed the Red and Green chain
Once the first batch of Red and Purple tiles clears, the board starts cycling its bins and the mystery field thins out. The front of the rail now wants Red and Green, and the revealed tiles cluster around those families.
- Prioritize the Red chain — the conveyor keeps sending Reds, so keep a Red bin available and drain them in runs.
- When a Green bin reaches the front, feed every Green you have revealed. Green is sparse, so gather it before it gets buried again.
- Save Purple and Teal for when their bins rotate back to the front of the rail; they are the midgame relief valves.
- Now decide on keys. Open the crate whose reveal actually frees a needed color or unlocks a bin you have been feeding — and skip the rest.
Cleanup: spend the key, close the board
With the mystery field largely revealed, the final board is mostly open colors and the last locked crates. Play only to the active front row from here.
- Spend your remaining key on the one locked bin that matches a color you still hold, and clear it immediately.
- Drain the last Red and Green tiles as their bins cycle to the front.
- Let the remaining Purple, Teal, and stray colors pull themselves down as their bins rotate into place.
- Keep feeding only the active front row. The rail does the sorting from here — the level clears once the last revealed color finds its open bin.

Level 157 Tips Recap
- Reveal the mystery field in controlled batches — only move a color whose bin is at the front of the rail.
- Red and Green are the spine of the midgame; keep a Red bin open and gather Green while it is reachable.
- You have exactly one key — never spend it in the opening. Save it for the crate that actually blocks a bin you need.
- In the late game, play only the active front row; locked crates you skipped stop mattering once their colors are gone.
