Marble Sort Level 222 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 222 Board Overview: The Mystery-Block Grid

Level 222 is a grid-style Marble Sort variant rather than the usual lineup of bottles. The play field is a compact grid with a central sorting chute at the bottom, and a bank of gray mystery or locked blocks sits along the top edge — some even flank the chute itself. Those gray blocks hide whatever sits behind them, so part of the board is a blind spot for the entire opening.
The opening spread is heavy on Light Blue, Green, and Yellow. Light Blue clusters near the center, Green holds the left side of the field, and Yellow sits around the middle, with Dark Blue, Orange, and Purple scattered through the upper rows. Below the field, a marble tray feeds new balls up into play, so the color mix keeps shifting as you sort.
The late-game board tells you where everything is heading: the remaining colors condense to Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, and Brown in the upper rows, and a shooter at the bottom queues up Red, Pink, and Yellow to fire into the field. Gray mystery blocks still cap the top of the grid, and a large stretch of the field has already been cleared to white tiles.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 222
The mystery blocks and the constantly feeding tray combine to pressure you into making quick, wasteful moves:
- The gray mystery blocks seal part of the top row and crowd the sides of the sorting chute. You cannot see what is behind them, and you cannot plan around marbles that are still hidden.
- The tray keeps feeding. New marbles drop into the field while you are still working through the first batch, which means a color you thought you had cleared can suddenly reappear.
- The shooter queue commits you. In the late game, Red, Yellow, and Pink sit queued and ready to fire, so you are forced to make space for them even when the grid feels nearly done.
- Leftover colors pile up. Orange and Purple appear early but their slots are not always open, and chasing them before they have a home jams the chute.
Marble Sort Level 222 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
The level does not need speed — it needs patience. Clear what has an open slot and let the hidden marbles reveal themselves.
Opening: feed the colors with homes

- Start with the Light Blue cluster near the center of the field. Tap it into the sorting chute as soon as a Light Blue slot is open.
- Move to the Green on the left side and feed it the same way — Green has active slots early and clearing it opens the left half of the grid.
- Pick up the Yellow around the middle of the board and drop it into its slot while you are in the area.
- Do not touch the Orange or Purple yet. They are visible in the upper rows, but their receiving slots are not in the front of the chute.
- Keep the Light Blue and Green chain going until the center of the field starts to open up.
Midgame: strip the top rows
With the center colors thinned out, the top rows and the edge columns become the priority. The gray mystery blocks at the top start to matter here — the marbles behind them are the only ones left to sort.
- Work the Dark Blue near the top-middle and feed it once its slot appears.
- Tackle the Brown and Pink as they drift toward the front of the chute. They are mid-game colors here, not opening bait.
- When the gray mystery blocks clear, sort whatever they were hiding immediately — those hidden marbles are usually the last copies of a color you have mostly finished.
- Check the tray each time before you move. If it just pushed a new Yellow or Green into the field, decide whether that copy can go to a slot right now or should be left alone.
- Avoid firing into a full column. Every move that does not land in a slot just buries the marbles underneath it deeper.
Cleanup: let the shooter finish the job
By the end, the field is mostly white tiles and the shooter at the bottom is feeding the last few marbles. This phase is about matching the queue, not brute-forcing.
- Watch the shooter queue — Red, Yellow, and Pink come up in order. Make a slot for the next color before you fire it.
- Fire the Green stockpile first, since it is the largest remaining group and its slots are already open.
- Match the late pairs one by one: Green with Green, Yellow with Yellow, and let the single Orange, Purple, Blue, and Brown copies fall into their last slots.
- Once the upper rows are down to a few loose marbles, clear the remaining gray blocks and feed whatever they reveal.
- Finish with the queue colors. The final Red, Pink, and Yellow shots should land in the last open slots and empty the board.

Level 222 Tips Recap
- The gray mystery blocks are a blind spot, not a barrier — sort what you can see, then react to what they reveal.
- Light Blue, Green, and Yellow are your opening colors. Orange and Purple can wait for their slots.
- The tray keeps refilling the field, so re-check the color mix before every move.
- In the late game, play to the shooter queue: always have a slot ready for the next color in line.
