Marble Sort Level 414 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 414 Board Overview: The Locked-Edges Tray

Level 414 is a Hard board played on the tile-tray variant: a grid of tile stacks sits on the tray, the receiver Boxes hang above it, and a conveyor belt runs the bottom of the screen. Every target Box carries a count of 3, so each one swallows a full batch before it closes. The opening board is asymmetrical — the two outer columns are short and guarded, while the center stacks rise the tallest, five or six tiles deep.
What makes the opening read tricky is the hardware. Key icons and padlock icons hug the left and right edges of the tray, and the outer columns are the ones wearing them, so the sides do not play like the middle of the board. Meanwhile the tall center stacks are built from plain colored tiles mixed with numbered marker tiles and a few patterned tiles — the numbered markers behave like several tiles in one drop, which makes the center columns dangerous to touch carelessly.
The conveyor below starts with a run of purples and yellows already loaded at the front of the queue, and the belt runs 12 slots wide with mixed colors cycling behind them. Below the belt, the color pool swatches show the full palette in play: Purple, Red, Yellow, Light Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, and White. Nothing about the opening is a straight line: unlock the edges, respect the center markers, and wait for the Boxes to ask for what you free.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 414
The tray is set up to make greedy players jam their own belt. Here is the layout:
- The outer columns are locked: key and padlock tiles sit on both edges of the tray. You cannot strip those columns clean until the locks are dealt with, so the sides are effectively off-limits during the opening.
- The center stacks are the tall ones: the middle columns run five or six tiles deep and mix plain tiles with numbered markers and patterned tiles. Reaching a buried color means clearing whatever is stacked above it first.
- Only a few colors have open Boxes at the start: the top receivers ask for one color family at a time in batches of three. Feed a color that has no Box yet — like the purples and yellows parked at the front of the belt — and the queue jams before the first Box closes.
- Numbered markers ride the center columns: they count as several tiles in one drop and reveal whatever hides underneath. They are powerful when a matching Box is open and pure waste when one is not.
Marble Sort Level 414 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Unlock before you commit. Follow the release order.
Opening: play the open colors only

The opening board gives you exactly one safe pattern: feed only the colors whose receiver Box sits at the top with a count still showing. The two edge columns may look tempting because they are short, but their key and padlock tiles make them traps until the right moment.
- Start with the color that the top Boxes ask for right now. Tap the matching tiles from the top of the center stacks only — never from deep in a column.
- Leave the purples and yellows riding the front of the belt alone. Their Boxes are not open, and the belt is the only buffer you have.
- Clear one color at a time until its Box count drops from 3 to 0, then stop touching that color entirely.
- When the next Box cycles in, repeat: tap only the topmost matching tile you can reach.
- Do not disturb the key and padlock tiles on the outer columns yet. The sides stay sealed while you work the middle.
Midgame: unlock the edges and strip the center
By the middle of the solve the board has thinned out: the frames show the tall center columns partially emptied, with gray empty slots opening underneath the remaining tiles and the numbered markers stepping down through their counts as the stacks above them clear. The top Boxes are now asking for the mid-board colors, and the belt is cycling greens, yellows, blues, reds, and purples.
- As the locks on the outer columns clear, feed the tiles they were guarding straight into any open Box. Unlocked columns empty fast.
- Take the numbered markers as they surface — each one pays several tiles into the front Box at once, so bank them against whatever count is highest.
- Work each tall column down one tile at a time. The buried tiles underneath the markers are your real targets, and they arrive in runs once a column opens.
- Play the belt in batches: when three matching tiles line up in the queue, a full batch finishes a Box in a single pass and frees belt space.
- Prioritize columns that expose two matching tiles in a row — clearing them empties a column and widens the tray.
- Whenever a patterned tile surfaces, treat it as a special drop: only release it when the color it counts toward has an open Box.
Cleanup: feed the stragglers
With the tray nearly empty, the level turns into a finishing line. The closing frame of the run catches the board still mid-solve — the receivers are still taking their last tiles and a handful of stacked columns remain, with the belt running behind them — so keep the discipline until the last tile lands.
- Every remaining tile is a single waiting for its Box to slide to the top. Play only to the active front row.
- Let the belt cycle: the last tiles feed as their Boxes open. Do not chase colors whose receivers have already closed.
- Finish the final Boxes as the stragglers drop and let the tray empty. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 414 Tips Recap
- The outer columns stay locked at the start — keys and padlocks seal them, so play the center until they unlock.
- Only feed colors with an open Box. The purples and yellows at the front of the belt are bait until the receivers cycle to them.
- Bank the numbered markers against the highest open count — they clear several tiles in one drop.
- In the endgame the tray is nearly empty; just cycle the belt and feed the last singles into their Boxes.
