Marble Sort Level 418 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 418 Board Overview: The Stubborn Blue Cluster

Marble Sort level 418 opening board — The Stubborn Blue Cluster

Level 418 opens on the block-grid variant of the board. A row of numbered round markers — ‘1’s and ‘2’s — caps the play field, and the grid below is packed with chunky blocks in Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, Orange, Pink, Purple, and Brown. Several of the colored tiles carry a printed number of their own: a Pink ‘1’ sits in the middle rows, and numbered ‘2’ tiles hide among the Blues, Light Blues, and Purples, so clearing them counts double toward whatever receiver is live.

The heaviest concentration of color sits top-left, where Dark Blue and Light Blue blocks pile up in the first columns. The rest of the board is a looser mix: Green and Yellow low on the right, Reds running down the middle columns, and Orange, Purple, and Brown guarding the outer edges. A few grid slots are already empty at the start, which gives the opening some breathing room.

Below the grid, the conveyor belt is already loaded with five Dark Blue marbles at the front, a lone Yellow tile in the middle, and three Green marbles trailing at the back. Under the belt, four vertical receiver stacks work through mixed colors — Orange, Pink, Green, Purple, and Yellow all ride them — and none of the stacks starts full of a single color. Because the stacks cycle what they accept, the level is a rhythm puzzle: drop what the receivers want now, and leave the top-left Blue cluster for the moment it comes back around.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 418

The board is rigged to make you dump the front of the belt and ignore the grid. Here is the layout:

  • The top-left Blue cluster is the whole level: the Dark Blue and Light Blue blocks stack two and three deep in the first columns, with numbered ‘2’ tiles mixed in. They are the last colors standing on the board, so feeding them early strands them in the receiver stacks while the rest of the grid still needs clearing.
  • The receiver stacks cycle mixed colors: Orange, Pink, Green, Purple, and Yellow share the four stacks at the bottom. A color is only useful while its stack is actively taking it — dump the wrong one and the queue jams before the grid clears.
  • Numbered tiles pay double: tiles marked ‘1’ and ‘2’ count as several drops in one release. A double tile dropped at the wrong moment wastes twice the belt space, and a ‘2’ in the Blue cluster is the worst possible early tap.
  • The belt arrives pre-loaded: five Blues, a Yellow tile, and three Greens ride the belt from the first frame. It looks like free progress, but only the color whose receiver is live actually moves the level forward.

Marble Sort Level 418 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Sort the grid before you commit to it, and never release faster than the receiver stacks can drain. Follow the release order.

Opening: read the numbers, feed the live stacks

Marble Sort level 418 mid-solve board

The first task is orientation, not speed. Look at which colors the four bottom stacks are carrying and start with the singles, not the cluster.

  1. Take stock of the numbered markers above the grid and the printed numbers on the tiles — note which ‘2’ tiles are buried where, and treat every one of them as a double drop.
  2. Feed the three Green marbles riding the back of the belt only if a Green is live in the receiver stacks; otherwise leave them on the belt and let them cycle.
  3. Release the lone Yellow tile from the middle of the belt into a Yellow slot as soon as its receiver comes around.
  4. Do not touch the five Dark Blues at the front of the belt yet — the top-left cluster is full of the same color, and dumping both early is how the board jams.
  5. Work the loose mid-board singles first: the Pink ‘1’ and the scattered Orange, Purple, and Yellow tiles in the middle rows pay out cleanly one at a time.

Midgame: clear the mid-board, bank the doubles

With the opening colors cycling, the grid starts to thin and the belt becomes the delivery system. The mid-solve view shows the board at exactly this stage: the lower rows are largely empty, the receivers have cycled through several colors, and the queue is running heavy with Yellow.

  1. Keep the conveyor fed one color at a time, matching whatever the front of the receiver stacks is taking — a clean single-color run clears a whole stack quickly.
  2. Clear the Green and Yellow blocks sitting low in the right columns; they are the shallowest part of the grid and empty out in a few taps.
  3. Bank the numbered ‘2’ tiles as their colors cycle to the front — a double tile timed right finishes a receiver in one pass.
  4. Leave the Reds running down the middle columns alone until a Red receiver is live; they sit between you and the top-left cluster, but they are not the priority.
  5. Strip the Orange, Purple, and Brown blocks from the edges as their receivers open, and let the empties spread across the grid — an open board is a board you can read.

Cleanup: grind the Blue cluster home

With the mid-board gone, the level narrows to the stubborn left side. The final frame of the run catches the board still mid-solve: the grid is nearly empty except for a small group of Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red, and Pink blocks in the top-left columns, the receiver stacks are still working through mixed colors, and a fresh line of marbles sits over the stacks with a burst effect ready to drop.

  1. From here, play only to the active receiver stacks — every remaining block is waiting for its color to cycle forward.
  2. Grind the top-left Blue cluster one block at a time as the Blue and Light Blue receivers come around; the numbered ‘2’ tiles in the cluster clear two slots at once when their color is live.
  3. Take the last Reds and the Pink as their receivers open, and let the empties finish spreading across the grid.
  4. Feed the final marbles off the belt as the last stacks fill. The level completes the moment the final receiver takes its last block — the clip ends just before that final drop.

Level 418 Tips Recap

  • Read the numbers before you tap: ‘2’ tiles pay double, so only release them into a live receiver.
  • Feed the belt one color at a time and match the receiver stacks — dumping the pre-loaded five Blues early is the fastest way to jam the queue.
  • Clear the mid-board singles before the cluster: Orange, Purple, Yellow, Green, and Brown all empty out while the Blues wait.
  • The top-left Blue and Light Blue pile is the true endgame — grind it one block per receiver cycle and the board falls apart on its own.
