Marble Sort Level 183 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 183 Board Overview: The Crate-Sealed Tray

Level 183 opens with a tray that is packed at the top and thin at the edges. Eight columns of marbles fill the board, but the right-hand columns start nearly empty — just a handful of marbles between them — so the early game plays out on the left half. A row of receiver Boxes waits below a loaded conveyor, and every Box takes three marbles before it cycles away to make room for the next color.
The colors you can actually play at the start are Pink, Yellow, and Green: the opening Boxes ask for Pink, Yellow, Pink, and Green. Everything else is bait. Large chunks of the upper tray sit inside blue-dashed crate slots — a run of 2x2 crates lines the top of the board, more locked slots run down the middle, and a few single-slot crates sit at the base of the stacks. The marbles inside are sealed until the board around them empties.
The rest of the board is a warning. White, Orange, Red, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Purple, and Brown all sit visible but homeless, and the conveyor arrives already loaded with a long run of matching marbles whose Box has not cycled forward yet. Touch those too early and the belt jams before the opening clears.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 183
- Crate slots seal the upper tray: blue-dashed 2x2 crates cover the top of the board and more locked slots run through the middle. The marbles inside cannot be reached until the surrounding columns clear, so plan around them instead of fighting them early.
- Only Pink, Yellow, and Green have Boxes at the start: the opening row asks for Pink, Yellow, Pink, and Green. Orange, Red, Light Blue, Dark Blue, White, Purple, and Brown are all bait until their Boxes cycle in.
- The conveyor is pre-loaded: a long run of matching marbles rides the belt from the very first frame. It is tempting to tap them, but their Box is not open yet — feed them and the belt jams before the opening row finishes.
- The right edge is a dead zone: the right-hand columns hold only a handful of marbles at the start and contribute almost nothing to the opening. Ignore them until the midgame.
Marble Sort Level 183 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order.
Opening: play the open Boxes only

- Feed the Pinks first. Two of the four opening Boxes ask for Pink, so they clear fastest and open the front row.
- Drop the Yellows into the Yellow Box — the Yellows sit mid-stack in the left columns, so work down to them.
- Clear the Greens into the Green Box. Green marbles sit loose around the center columns, so they come in short runs.
- Leave the conveyor alone. A long run of matching marbles sits on the belt with no open Box — do not tap it.
- Ignore the crate-locked slots for now. Focus on the loose marbles around them; the crates only free up as the tray empties.
- Skip White, Orange, Red, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Purple, and Brown — none of them have a Box in the opening row.
Midgame: let the Boxes cycle toward the crates
Once the Pinks, Yellows, and Greens clear, the front row rotates. The new Boxes ask for Light Blue, Red, Yellow, and Dark Blue, and by the middle of the solve all four are already half full — the colors that looked like bait finally have homes.
- Feed Light Blue as soon as its Box opens. Light Blues sit loose near the tops of the center columns, so they arrive in quick runs.
- Work the Red marbles next — a cluster of them sits in the center-right of the tray.
- Keep the Yellow Box fed. Yellow is the one color carried across both phases, so keep it running to avoid leaving orphans behind.
- Feed the Dark Blue cluster on the right side of the board into its Box.
- Now the crates start to matter. As the columns around them empty, the blue-dashed crate slots free their marbles — tap each revealed color only while its Box sits in the front row.
- The conveyor finally earns its keep: when the long matching run reaches the front, feed it into the active Box in batches.
Cleanup: empty the crates and finish the row
With the loose marbles gone, the remaining game lives inside the crates. The end frame shows the tray stripped down to the last locked clusters and the final Boxes taking their last marbles.
- Play only to the active front row from here — every release should land in a Box that is open right now.
- Empty each crate as it frees: reveal the marbles inside, match them to the current Boxes, and keep the belt clear.
- Leave single orphans on the belt if their Box has already closed — they will clear when the row cycles back around.
- Let the final Boxes finish as the last marbles drop. The level completes the moment the last marble lands.

Level 183 Tips Recap
- Play the open Boxes only: Pink, Yellow, and Green open the level; everything else waits for its turn.
- The conveyor is bait at the start — its long matching run has no Box until the midgame, so keep your hands off the belt.
- Treat the blue-dashed crates as scheduled releases: they free up as the tray empties, so save them for the midgame instead of fighting them early.
- In the endgame only the crate colors remain — cycle the row and feed every revealed marble into the active Box.
