Marble Sort Level 260 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 260 Board Overview: The Mystery-Stacked Funnel

Level 260 is a Very Hard tile board, and it opens stacked to the top: a crowded tray of colored tiles narrows into a funnel that feeds the receiver crates below. Nine colors sit on the tray at the start — Purple, Red, Light Blue, Dark Blue, White, Pink, Orange, Green, and Yellow — with grey mystery ’?’ tiles blanketing the stacks and a handful of wooden crates wrapping whole columns of marbles until the tiles around them clear.
The opening receiver crates ask for exactly four colors: Purple, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue. Everything else on the visible tray — White, Pink, Orange, Green, and Yellow — has no home at the open, so the opening is a narrow lane: feed the four open colors and treat the rest as bait. On the edge of the tray a numbered blue tile sits at 3, holding a bonus run of tiles that only spills in the endgame. Three one-use power-ups sit above the board if you need a bailout.
The mid-solve frame shows the plan working: all four opening colors — Purple, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue — are completely banked, while White, Pink, Orange, Green, and Blue still crowd the grid and the receiver crates have rotated to a fresh set of requests. By the end frame the tray is nearly empty, the numbered tile has drained to 0, and the last Green and Light Blue tiles are falling into the receivers.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 260
The board hides most of its danger behind mystery tiles and locked columns:
- Mystery ’?’ tiles blanket the stacks: grey mystery boxes cap the columns, so you cannot plan the top of the tray until you tap it. A bad reveal dumps a color with no home straight into the funnel.
- Wooden crates lock whole columns: several columns are wrapped in crates that hold their marbles until the surrounding tiles clear. Forcing them early just jams the funnel.
- Only four colors have crates at the open: Purple, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue are the only colors the opening receivers ask for. Tap White, Pink, Orange, Green, or Yellow early and you are holding a tile with nowhere to go.
- A tunnel tile sits mid-tray: the black tunnel warps a tile back onto the grid instead of letting it fall, so a color you thought was leaving the board can reappear on the far side — re-check the tray before every tap.
- The numbered tile is a timer, not a target: the blue “3” block counts down and only releases its run of tiles in the endgame. Breaking it early floods the funnel with colors you cannot place.
Marble Sort Level 260 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Feed the four crates that exist, dodge the colors that do not, and let the numbered tile finish the board.
Opening: feed the four open crates

- Tap the Purples into the Purple crate — Purples ride high in the left-hand columns, with more lower in the tray.
- Feed Red next — Reds cluster in the middle and right of the tray and drop cleanly into their crate.
- Drop the Light Blues — Light Blue sits near the center of the tray and is one of the safest opening taps.
- Feed Dark Blue — the dark tiles stack at the bottoms of the right-hand columns and arrive in runs.
- Bank the White and Pink singles only if a slot is already waiting; otherwise leave them on the tray.
- Leave Orange, Green, and Yellow alone — no opening crate asks for them, and their crates only arrive after the first batch fills and rotates.
- Peel the mystery ’?’ tiles one at a time. If the reveal matches an open crate, drop it; if not, leave the column and come back.
- Do not force the crate-wrapped columns — play the open lanes and let the grid empty around the wooden crates.
Midgame: ride the crate rotation
The mid-solve frame shows Purple, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue completely off the tray while White, Pink, Orange, Green, and Blue still crowd the grid. The bottom crates have rotated to a fresh set of requests, and the tray has thinned into a funnel fight.
- Feed only to the current front crates. As each one fills it cycles out and a new request rotates in, so re-check the bottom row before every tap.
- Work the left-hand columns first — White, Pink, and Orange cluster there, and they feed as their crates rotate to the front.
- Clear the Blue column on the right once its crate appears — the Dark Blue and Blue stack has waited the whole opening, and the numbered tile above it is your only other source of dark tiles.
- Use the tunnel tile deliberately: if a color has to wait, let it ride the tunnel back onto the tray instead of jamming the funnel with a tile you cannot place.
- Keep the funnel moving — a backed-up drop lane is how this board stalls. When a column clears, the crate wrapped around it stops mattering.
Cleanup: drain the numbered tile, empty the tray
The end frame shows the board almost solved: the tray holds only a handful of stragglers, the numbered tile has drained from 3 to 0, and a chain of Green and Light Blue tiles is falling into the receiver area.
- Play only to the active crates — every remaining tile is a single waiting for its slot to come around.
- Let the numbered tile finish spilling its chain; the Light Blues and Greens it feeds land in the last open slots.
- Drop the final stragglers as their crates cycle forward, and the tray empties. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 260 Tips Recap
- Purple, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue are the only colors with crates at the open — feed them first and treat White, Pink, Orange, Green, and Yellow as bait.
- Reveal before you commit: mystery ’?’ tiles cap the stacks, so never plan a combo on colors you cannot see.
- Leave the numbered tile alone until the endgame — it counts down to 0 and spills the final tiles into the funnel.
- Re-check the receiver crates before every tap; they rotate as each one fills, and a tunnel tile can put a tile right back on the tray.
