Marble Sort Level 378 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 378 Board Overview: The Lock-Capped Grid

Level 378 opens on the tile-grid board with every column stacked high. The tray is packed to roughly eight rows, and a full-width feeder at the bottom already holds the first deliveries: a Light Blue tile leads the queue, followed by a run of Purples, then a pair of Greens and a pair of Pinks. Everything you release rides that belt toward the receivers, so the order you free the grid decides whether the queue flows or jams.
The structure above the tiles is what makes this level read as hard. Two lock blocks marked with a 2 sit at the head of the left-hand columns, another marked 2 caps the Orange-and-Brown stack on the far right, and a pair of slanted numbered blocks (1 and 2) leans across the upper mid rows. Each marked obstacle needs its listed number of clears before the tiles beneath it are truly freed, which means the top of the board stays half-hidden until you have earned the reveals.
The visible colors are honest and clustered. Green is by far the most common family, running down the left-center columns and along the lower rows. Pink appears in three small stacks — left of center and twice near the right edge — while Red shows up only a couple of times in the upper mid column. Orange, Brown, Purple, Light Blue, and a lone Yellow round out the tray, scattered just far enough apart that matching runs are never handed to you.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 378
The board is rigged to make you crack the locks before you have anything to feed. Here is the layout:
- Two numbered lock blocks cap the left columns: both marked 2, they sit directly above useful Pink and Green tiles. Breaking them early feels like progress, but each clear burns a release you could have spent on an open receiver.
- The far-right crate guards a Brown-and-Orange stack: the column under the right-hand lock hides two Browns under an Orange. Free them before a Brown request cycles live and the belt picks up junk.
- The feeder punishes early dumps: the queue opens Light Blue, then Purples, Greens, and Pinks. Release colors in a different order and the belt fills with tiles that have nowhere to land.
- Red and Yellow are nearly one-offs: Red appears only twice and Yellow once. These tiles have exactly one matching moment each — miss it and they clog the tray for the rest of the level.
Marble Sort Level 378 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Match the queue before you attack the grid. Follow the release order.
Opening: clear the left columns

- Tap the Light Blue tile at the head of the feeder straight into its receiver — it is requested from the first moments of the level.
- Release the Blue tile tucked in the upper-left column, then the Pink pair sitting directly beneath the left lock blocks. Pink is live early, and these are the closest Pinks on the board.
- Work down the left-center stack: peel the Green tiles that sit under the Pinks. Green is the most common color on the tray, so every Green release has a request waiting.
- Clear the Red tile in the upper mid column the moment its receiver cycles forward — Red appears only twice on the whole board, and the pair of drops should stay close together.
- Feed the Purple and Green tiles that follow in the feeder queue as they arrive; the belt is delivering them in the exact order the early receivers want.
- Leave the two numbered lock blocks at the head of the left columns alone for now. They are marked 2, so each one eats two clears before it releases anything.
Midgame: crack the right half
By the middle of the solve the left columns are thinned out and the queue has cycled. The remaining weight sits on the right: double Purple stacks on the edge columns, the Orange-and-Brown column under the far-right lock, and the lone Yellow still waiting in the upper mid.
- Turn to the right side and release the Purples in runs — the two double-Purple stacks at the right edge feed the same receiver back to back.
- Drop the lone Yellow tile in the upper mid column when its request opens; it has one matching moment, so do not let the queue cycle past it.
- Match the Orange sitting over the right-hand column with the Orange request as it comes live, then free the two Browns buried beneath it.
- Crack the far-right numbered lock block only when the belt has room — it caps that Orange-and-Brown column, and clearing it late in the phase keeps the reveal from flooding the queue.
- Keep the feeder moving in its natural groups: Greens and Pinks still arrive in pairs, and a full pair finishes its receiver in a single pass.
Cleanup: strip the stragglers
With the grid nearly empty, the level becomes a straight finishing line. The closing frames show the board still in play: the queue is running a mixed string of Pink, Orange, Blue, and Purple tiles, a couple of numbered blocks are still ticking down, and the remaining receivers are taking their final colors one at a time.
- Play only to the active receivers from here — every remaining tile has exactly one slot waiting for it, so release only the color whose request is front and center.
- Let the belt cycle the final Pink, Orange, and Blue runs on its own; matching the queue order clears three or four receivers with no grid work at all.
- Knock out the last numbered blocks as their counters hit zero, but only when the tiles they free match a live request.
- Finish the final slots as the stragglers drop, and let the last queue deliveries pull the tray empty.

Level 378 Tips Recap
- The numbered lock blocks each cost their listed clears — crack them when the belt is empty, not when it is already full.
- Feed Light Blue and Green first; the opening queue delivers Purples, Greens, and Pinks in the order the early receivers want.
- Red and Yellow are nearly one-offs: keep their drops paired with the single request each gets.
- In the endgame the grid is empty and the belt is the whole level — match the queue and the last receivers fill themselves.
