Marble Sort Level 237 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 237 Board Overview: The Tile-Grid Funnel

Marble Sort level 237 opening board — The Tile-Grid Funnel

Level 237 wears a red “Hard” badge, and the frames make it clear why: this is the tile-grid variant of Marble Sort, not the loose-stack board. The top of the level is a funnel of square tiles instead of simple marble columns, and it is stuffed with directional arrow tiles, wooden crates, grey mystery tiles, and a special x2 tile. Marbles that work their way through this grid drop onto a conveyor pipe that carries them down to the target area.

The bottom of the board is a row of four target columns. Reading them bottom-to-top, the requests are Yellow then Green, Blue then Orange, Pink then Light Blue, and Light Green then Pink. Every color you release from the funnel needs to land in exactly one of those four stacks, so the whole level is about routing, not just sorting.

The difficulty comes from the funnel’s structure. Arrow tiles force marbles sideways or straight down, crates block whole slots in the middle rows, and the grey mystery tiles sit in the path of the deliveries on the right side of the grid. The color set itself is friendly — six colors, four short columns — but the funnel turns every drop into a routing decision.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 237

The funnel is rigged to stall you if you drop without a plan:

  • Arrow tiles decide your routes. The top row shows Pink, Green, and Light-Blue arrow tiles that push deliveries sideways or straight down. A marble dropped into the wrong lane ends up on the wrong side of the board with no quick way back.
  • Wooden crates block the middle rows. Crate tiles sit in the center of the grid and hide the slots behind them. The lanes around them are all you have until the tiles clear.
  • Grey mystery tiles stall the right half. The right side of the funnel is packed with mystery/rock tiles sitting directly in the path of the Pink and Light-Blue deliveries. Dropping carelessly into that side means waiting for the tiles to resolve before the conveyor can move.
  • The x2 tile is part of the flow. A special x2 tile sits in the grid where the green lane runs. It is not a blocker — route through it normally instead of trying to avoid it.
  • The conveyor only holds a couple of marbles. If you feed the pipe faster than the columns accept deliveries, it jams and every subsequent drop waits.

Marble Sort Level 237 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The order below follows the color needs of the four bottom columns. Exact taps depend on how the funnel lanes line up, but the sequence stays the same.

Opening: read the columns and ride the arrows

Marble Sort level 237 mid-solve board

  1. Read the four bottom columns before touching anything: Yellow over Green, Blue over Orange, Pink over Light-Blue, and Light-Green over Pink.
  2. Drop into the top-row arrow lanes rather than forcing marbles through the middle of the grid. The Pink and Green arrows push deliveries to the right; the Light-Blue arrow drops straight down.
  3. Start with Yellow — it is the base of the far-left column. Get it into Column 1 before worrying about the Green that stacks above it.
  4. Move to Column 2 next: Blue at the base with Orange above. Both blocks sit low in the funnel, so they are reachable once the upper lanes open.
  5. Route the right side for Column 3 (Pink base, Light-Blue above). The grey mystery tiles crowd this side, so give those deliveries a clear lane before dropping.
  6. Use the fourth column (Light-Green base, Pink above) to drain the colors that only appear there once. Light Green has exactly one home on this board.
  7. Keep the conveyor from jamming: only feed a marble when its target column is actively accepting, and let the pipe clear between drops.

Midgame: break past the crates

  1. The wooden crates sit in the middle rows of the funnel and hide the slots behind them. Clear the tiles around each crate first so the hidden lane opens.
  2. Once the crates drop, the mid-funnel opens up and the deliveries speed up. Use the freed slots to chain same-color drops — Yellow and Green in particular stack quickly.
  3. Time the right-side deliveries around the grey mystery tiles. Let a mystery tile resolve before sending Pink or Light-Blue through that half of the grid.
  4. Close out Column 4 as soon as its Light-Green base and Pink top are in — that removes one full request from the board early.
  5. As columns fill, they stop accepting. Move your attention to whichever column still needs its top color instead of piling more onto full stacks.

Cleanup: clear the hopper

  1. In the late game the grid empties and the remaining marbles pool in the hopper above the columns. Sort them by color before feeding them rather than pushing whatever is on top.
  2. Top off each column one at a time: Green above Yellow, Orange above Blue, Light-Blue above Pink, and Pink above Light-Green.
  3. Keep one eye on the pipe during cleanup — a stalled conveyor in the last stretch just wastes taps. Feed the hopper marbles in the exact order the columns need them and the final stacks complete themselves.

Level 237 Tips Recap

  • Read the four columns before your first drop: Yellow/Green, Blue/Orange, Pink/Light-Blue, Light-Green/Pink.
  • Let the arrow tiles route for you — the sideways arrows swing deliveries across the funnel, the down arrow drops straight.
  • Don’t fight the crates or the mystery tiles: clear around them first, then use the freed slots for chained drops.
  • In the endgame, sort the hopper by color and top off each column one at a time so the conveyor never jams.
