Marble Sort Level 181 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 181 Board Overview: A Clean Four-Column Tray

Marble Sort level 181 opening board — A Clean Four-Column Tray

Level 181 opens with a welcome change of pace: no crates, no mystery tiles, and no locks anywhere on the board. The Top Tray is a plain four-column grid, four rows deep, and every tile you need to plan around is visible from the first frame.

The opening tray holds thirteen tiles spread over nine colors. The right half of the board is top-heavy — the left column carries Dark Blue over Orange over Red, while the second column is the only one that fills all four rows with Cyan, Yellow, Green, and Purple stacked in order. The third column starts with Pink and Orange and finishes with a pair of Light Pink tiles at the bottom, and the fourth column shows just Cyan over Orange, leaving its lower slots open.

Down at the bottom, the queue of receiver Boxes cycles through the same palette. Orange is the workhorse color with three tiles already in the tray, Cyan and Light Pink each appear twice, and the other six colors show up exactly once — which means the Boxes, not the tray, decide when most of them become playable.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 181

There is no obstacle hiding the danger here — the danger is the color count itself:

  • Orange is everywhere. Three Oranges sit in the middle row, which makes them look like free clears, but they do nothing for you until an Orange Box is waiting at the front.
  • Cyan and Light Pink are the only doubled colors. Cyan appears in the second and fourth columns, and the two Light Pinks stack together in the third column. These pairs are your safest opening taps.
  • Six colors appear exactly once. Dark Blue, Pink, Yellow, Red, Green, and Purple each have a single tile. Tap them before their Box reaches the front of the queue and they camp on the belt with nowhere to go.
  • The top row is the finish line. The mid-solve frame shows the lower rows clearing out first while Dark Blue, Red, and Cyan stay seated in the top row until the end — a good sign that the solve order is bottom-up.

Marble Sort Level 181 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play the doubles, spend the Oranges, then let the queue feed the singles.

Opening: clear the doubled colors

Marble Sort level 181 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Cyan tile at the top of the second column into the front Cyan Box.
  2. Tap the second Cyan tile at the top of the fourth column to finish that pair.
  3. Move to the third column and drop the two Light Pink tiles from the bottom of the column — they pair up cleanly and open space at the base of the tray.
  4. Start spending the Oranges in the middle row as their Box cycles forward; the Orange in the third column is the easiest to reach first.
  5. Do not touch the Dark Blue, Red, or top-row Cyan tiles yet — the midgame frame shows them surviving the opening on purpose.

Midgame: ride the queue for the singles

Once the doubled colors and the first Oranges clear, the queue cycles and the single tiles become fair game.

  1. Drop the Yellow tile from the second column the moment a Yellow Box leads the queue.
  2. Take the Green tile that sits under the Yellow in the same column when its Box appears.
  3. Clear the Purple tile at the bottom of the second column — it is the deepest tile on the board, and freeing it unclogs the whole left side.
  4. The Pink tile in the third column and the Red tile under the Orange on the left are the last of the singles; release each one only when its own Box is in front.
  5. Keep an eye on the fresh pieces hovering above the tray — they queue up to drop, so do not start a new color while a full piece is already waiting.

Cleanup: finish the top row

  1. With the lower three rows empty, only the top-row tiles remain: Dark Blue, Red, and Cyan.
  2. Let the queue bring their Boxes to the front one at a time and feed them in order.
  3. The final frame of the video cuts to the channel outro splash, so the last few taps are not shown — play the remaining Boxes conservatively and only move when a Box is already open.
  4. When the last top-row tile drops, the level closes out on its own.

Level 181 Tips Recap

  • The tray is honest: no crates or mystery tiles, so the only trap is tapping singles too early.
  • Cyan, Light Pink, and Orange are the opening colors — everything else waits for its Box.
  • The second column holds the deepest stack (Yellow, Green, Purple), so clear it before the left and right columns stall.
  • In the late game, the top row is the last thing to clear; park nothing on the belt while its Boxes cycle.
