Marble Sort Level 436 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 436 Board Overview: The Mystery Crate Requests

Level 436 is a Very Hard block-grid that plays keep-away with its own win condition. The grid is packed nearly full — columns of stacked blocks in Purple, Orange, Yellow, White, Dark Gray, Turquoise, Blue, Red, and Green — with a few loose single blocks resting along the top of the tray. What makes the board tricky is not the colors themselves but the receiver crates: only a handful show their request at the start, and the rest sit as grey ’?’ mystery crates whose requests stay hidden until earlier crates fill.
The requests you can read up front are numbered counts rather than open slots. A 2-count crate wants Blue, and two 3-count crates want Dark Gray — which lines up neatly with the two full Dark Gray stacks sitting in the grid, each holding exactly three blocks. Nothing else on the board is a guaranteed drop in the opening, so the whole first phase is about playing only the colors the visible crates ask for.
Below the grid, the feed area gatekeeps everything. A loading queue sits stocked at the bottom of the tray with a long run of Red ahead of the other waiting marbles, and the running conveyor cycles whatever you release from the columns. Because every drop funnels into that line, the belt is the bottleneck from the very first tap. The solve arc shown in the playthrough is a slow drain: the grid thins to a few scattered stacks by the mid-frame, and the closing frames still catch marbles in the feed as the last crates finish — there is no shortcut, only request order.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 436
- Half the requests start hidden: the grey ’?’ mystery crates reveal what they want only as other crates fill. Plan around the numbered crates you can read, never around a request you have not seen.
- The Red run is preloaded bait: the bottom queue opens with a long string of Red ahead of the other marbles, and no Red request is visible at the start. Tap it early and the whole line jams for a cycle.
- The Dark Gray stacks look like an opener but are a schedule: each full Dark Gray stack holds exactly three blocks, matching one 3-count crate. Split a stack and you strand the second crate for the rest of the solve.
- Most of the rainbow has no home yet: Purple, Orange, Yellow, White, and Turquoise all ride the columns and the belt while the visible crates ask for only a couple of colors. Feeding them early just eats belt space.
Marble Sort Level 436 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Read the crates before you read the colors, then drain the belt on schedule. Follow the release order.
Opening: read the crates before the colors

- Survey the receiver crates before the first tap. Note the visible requests — the 2-count Blue crate and the 3-count Dark Gray crates — and treat every grey ’?’ crate as an unknown until it reveals.
- Feed the loose single blocks capping the top of the tray, but only when their color matches a live crate; the exposed Light Green, Orange, and Red singles are the natural first candidates.
- Leave the two full Dark Gray stacks intact. Each one is worth exactly one 3-count crate, so keep the stacks whole and drop them only when their crate is live.
- Do not tap the long Red run sitting at the front of the loading queue. With no Red request revealed, every Red you release rides the belt for a full cycle.
- Peel the exposed column tops one block at a time and let each drop answer a visible crate. Do not pull a buried Purple, Orange, or White just because it is reachable.
Midgame: let the mystery crates come to you
By the mid-solve frame the grid has roughly halved: scattered stacks of Blue, Cyan, Green, Purple, Red, Yellow, Orange, White, and Pink remain, the numbered crates are taking their 2s and 3s, and the belt is cycling Red, Cyan, Purple, White, Green, and Orange through the queue.
- Fill the revealed crates in request order, completing each count in a single pass rather than splitting drops across two crates.
- Release blocks only into crates that are live right now — the Blue, Cyan, and Green families cycle through the requests first in the midgame.
- As each grey ’?’ crate reveals, re-plan around the new request immediately; the revealed color usually matches a stack you have been deliberately ignoring.
- Drain the belt in whole batches — the mixed Red/Cyan/Purple/White/Green/Orange line clears fastest when a full run feeds a matching crate at once.
- Keep the funnel single-file. Never release a second stack while the first is still dropping into the queue.
Cleanup: run the track dry
The late frames show the tray nearly drained: only a few single blocks remain on the grid, the feed track is running long strings of White and Pink toward the front, and the loader columns below still hold mixed stacks waiting to cycle.
- From the near-empty grid, tap only blocks whose crate is sitting live — with this little left, every misfeed costs the run.
- Let the long White and Pink runs on the track feed as they reach the front; whole batches close the last count crates fast.
- Cycle the loader stacks below the tray in the same revealed-crate order, matching each column’s colors as their requests come forward.
- The closing frame still catches marbles in flight, so keep the discipline to the final tap: matching drops only, whole-crate passes, and the tray empties when the last request fills.

Level 436 Tips Recap
- Read the numbered crates first — the grey ’?’ crates reveal on their own schedule, so never gamble on a hidden request.
- Keep each full Dark Gray stack whole; one stack is exactly one 3-count crate.
- The preloaded Red run is bait until a Red request appears — feeding it early jams the whole line.
- The endgame is a drain race: whole-batch feeds off the track beat scattered single drops every time.
