Marble Sort Level 263 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 263 Board Overview: Locks, Mystery Tiles, and the Center Pool

Marble Sort level 263 opening board — Locks, Mystery Tiles, and the Center Pool

Level 263 opens as a heavy board where most of the tray is hidden behind grey ’?’ mystery tiles. The top tray splits into seven vertical lanes, and nearly every lane is capped with a mystery tile — you cannot see what sits underneath until you tap it. On the outer lanes, numbered ‘3’ lock tiles sit above solid green wall tiles, sealing the left and right edges of the board shut.

What you can see at the start is small but honest. The four receiver Boxes ask for Green, Brown, Yellow, and Green, and the lanes show Yellow, Purple, Pink, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Brown waiting above the green wall. In the center of the tray floor, a loose cluster of dark Brown marbles pools together instead of stacking in a lane — it is the biggest visible chunk of one color on the whole opening board.

The conveyor below is already loaded, running in batches: a long run of Green at the front, then a pair of Orange, followed by Pink, White, and Light Blue groups. The belt is your lifeline, but only the colors with an open Box are safe to tap.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 263

The board is built to make you reveal faster than you can sort. Here is the layout:

  • Nearly every lane hides under a ’?’ tile: only a few marbles are visible at the start, and each tap of a mystery tile is a gamble on what gets revealed underneath.
  • Numbered ‘3’ locks seal the outer lanes: the locks sit above solid green wall tiles on both sides of the tray. They pay out several tiles at once when freed, but they stay locked until you have a matching Box in the front row.
  • Only Green, Brown, and Yellow have Boxes at the start: the visible Purple, Pink, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Orange have no receiver yet. Feed them early and the conveyor jams before the opening clears.
  • The center Brown pool is one-way traffic: six Brown marbles sit loose in the middle of the tray, and only one Brown Box exists at the start. Drain them slowly, never all at once.

Marble Sort Level 263 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the three open colors

Marble Sort level 263 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the visible Green marbles straight into the two Green Boxes — they are the safest drops on the opening board.
  2. Feed the Yellow marbles from the lanes into the Yellow Box. Yellow sits high in the visible stacks, so it clears quickly.
  3. Start draining the loose Brown pool in the center into the Brown Box, one or two marbles at a time. Do not dump all six at once — the box can only hold so much before the belt backs up.
  4. Bank the numbered ‘3’ locks only when a matching Box sits in the front row. Each lock pays several tiles in a single drop.
  5. Peel the ’?’ mystery tiles off the lane tops one by one. If the reveal matches an open Box, drop it; if not, leave the column and move on.
  6. Treat every revealed Purple, Pink, Dark Blue, Light Blue, or Orange as bait — none of them have a Box yet, so do not park them on the belt.

Midgame: let the Boxes rotate toward the stacks

By the middle of the solve the front row has cycled. The Boxes are now taking Purple, Yellow, and Light Blue — the mid-solve frame shows Purple and Yellow dropping into the left receiver while Light Blue feeds the right one. The ’?’ crates still cap the center columns, and a ‘1’ lock marker has appeared on one of the right lanes.

  1. Feed the Purple marbles as soon as their Box opens. Purples sit in the lanes on both sides of the tray, so they arrive in short runs.
  2. Drop the Light Blue marbles into the right Box as they come; the lane reveals feed them in batches.
  3. Keep the queue cycling — take each batch of matching colors as its Box slides to the front, and never stack a combo on a color whose receiver is not active.
  4. When the ‘1’ lock marker appears on a lane, bank it the same way as the ‘3’ locks: only when a matching Box is front and center.
  5. Prioritize lanes that reveal two matching tiles in a row — clearing them empties a column and opens up the tray.

Cleanup: feed the stragglers

The final frame of the video shows the level still in progress: a loose cluster of Pink marbles, a few Blues and Greens, and the conveyor still carrying Light Blue, White, Dark Blue, Green, Yellow, and Purple. The endgame is a straight finishing line from there.

  1. Every remaining tile is a single waiting for its Box to slide to the front — play only to the active front row.
  2. Let the queue cycle the last colors through; do not chase a color whose receiver has already closed.
  3. Finish the final Boxes as the stragglers drop, and the level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 263 Tips Recap

  • Reveal before you commit: most lanes start under ’?’ mystery tiles, so never plan a combo around colors you cannot see.
  • Only feed colors with an open Box — Green, Brown, and Yellow open the level; Purple, Pink, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Orange are bait until their Boxes cycle in.
  • Bank the numbered locks (the ‘3’s and the later ‘1’) into whichever Box is front and center — they clear several tiles at once.
  • Drain the center Brown pool slowly; one Brown Box cannot swallow all six marbles without jamming the belt.
