Marble Sort Level 168 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 168 Board Overview: The Mystery-Box Cratewall

Level 168 opens with a center stage you cannot play: a big 2x2 wooden crate sits in the middle-right of the tray, with a second, single-slot tilted crate leaning against the left column. Around them, the board is a wall of secrets — three ”?” mystery tiles stack the left edge, three more the right edge, and two more lurk directly under the big crate. The top row is lined with four special numbered “4” tiles.
The only real marbles visible at the start are a Pink and a Red-and-Yellow pair on the left-center, an Orange and a Blue on the right, and a Yellow near the middle. The front receiver boxes ask for Red, Pink, Yellow, and Blue, with more of the same plus Purple waiting in the rows behind. The conveyor already carries a Purple, a Pink, and a Green, and three Yellows are dropping through the funnel.
Because so many slots are hidden, the true color mix only reveals itself as you clear tiles. Expect light Teal and extra Greens to surface from the mystery tiles later — Teal looks dangerously close to Blue, so keep the two straight. The crates are gone by the midgame, and the board opens up fast.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 168
The board is rigged to make you commit to colors that have no home yet. Here is the layout:
- The center crate blockade: the 2x2 crate plus the tilted single-slot crate seal the middle columns, forcing every early play to the rim of the tray.
- The mystery-tile lottery: eight ”?” tiles hide what you are actually sorting. You cannot plan around them — only around the boxes that are currently asking.
- The belt flood: mid-game the conveyor loads up with six Pinks and six Oranges. Release a color whose box is buried in the back rows and the belt jams.
- Blue vs. Teal: the level uses both dark Blue and light Teal boxes. They look alike in a rush and mixing them wastes a full box of progress.
Marble Sort Level 168 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order.
Opening: play the rim, ignore the tiles

- Start with the Pink marble near the left-center of the tray — it drops straight into a front-row Pink Box.
- Feed the Yellow and Red on the left into their front-row boxes; Red is demanded in the very first column, so bank it early.
- On the right side, drop the Blue marble at the bottom of its column into a Blue Box. The Orange above it stays on hold — no Orange Box is active yet.
- Keep clearing the visible Yellow near the middle; three Yellows are already in the funnel, so the Yellow boxes fill quickly.
- Leave the “4” tiles, the ”?” tiles, and both crates completely alone during the opening. None of them help the front row.
Midgame: the tiles crack open
Once the early Red, Pink, Yellow, and Blue boxes clear, the crates vanish and the mystery tiles start feeding their marbles. The active boxes shift to Yellow, Purple, Pink, and Blue, then to Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green.
- Take the Purple that rode the belt from the start and feed it — the third column asks for two Purples.
- As ”?” tiles reveal their marbles, feed each color only if its box sits in the front or second row. Teal shows up here for the first time — match it to Teal boxes, never Blue.
- Let the Pink and Orange flood pass on the belt. Pink still has boxes in row two; Orange has none, so it simply rides the queue.
- Feed the Greens as they surface from the tiles; the bottom-row Green box is your target.
- Keep the Blue chain moving — three Blues ride the belt mid-game and the Blue boxes are spread across the board.
Cleanup: drain the belt
- Finish the Purple and Teal boxes first — they fill the final columns and free up the tray.
- The endgame queue holds Purple, Red, Teal, and a long run of Orange. Only release Orange if a box asks for it; otherwise let it sit on the belt.
- With the tray nearly empty, the last Yellow and Red marbles drop into the remaining boxes and the belt clears on its own.

Level 168 Tips Recap
- Treat the “4” and ”?” tiles as background noise in the opening — the visible Pink, Yellow, Red, and Blue marbles are the only safe plays.
- Teal (light blue) and Blue are different colors; match them to their own boxes or you waste a full cycle.
- Mid-game the belt floods with Pink and Orange. A color with no active box is bait — leave it queued.
- The crates disappear after the opening, so Level 168 gets easier, not harder, the longer you survive.
