Marble Sort Level 148 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 148 Board Overview: The Crate-Sealed Tray

Level 148 opens with a tray that looks almost unplayable: wooden crates seal most of the top rows of the six-column grid, stacked two deep on the far left and far right. Only a thin strip of colored tiles peeks out on the third row — a Light Blue, an Amber, a mystery tile, a Pink, and a Dark Red. Everything else worth having starts hidden.
The receiver boxes around the rim tell you what the opening actually allows: a navy blue box, an amber box, and a pair of wooden crate bins that the sealed crates are meant to fill. The rest of the boxes are dark ’?’ mystery boxes that will only accept tiles after the crates come down. Behind all of it, the conveyor queue is already loaded with Dark Blue, Light Blue, Pink, Green, Red, and White tiles waiting to roll into the tray.
That stack of crates is not decoration and not an obstacle — it is the level’s timer. Every crate you deliver to a crate bin uncovers a mystery tile underneath, and the mystery boxes on the rim will not start working until those tiles are exposed.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 148
The board is rigged to make you grab whatever the queue dumps first. Here is the layout:
- The crate wall: almost every slot in the top two rows is a locked wooden crate. They read as blocked squares, but they are actually deliveries — feed them to the crate bins and the board underneath opens up.
- The exposed row: only Light Blue, Amber, a mystery tile, Pink, and Dark Red are reachable at the start. Of those, only Light Blue and Amber have boxes waiting on the first pass.
- Pink and Dark Red are bait: both sit in the open with no receiver box on the rim at the start. Tap them early and your queue jams before the first crates clear.
- The mystery boxes: the dark ’?’ bins around the rim accept whatever color the hidden tiles turn out to be. They cannot be used until you have cleared crates and revealed tiles, so treat them as a midgame objective, not an opening one.
- The queue pressure: Dark Blue and Green arrive in bulk on the conveyor. Neither has a box in the opening rotation, so letting them pile up is how runs stall.
Marble Sort Level 148 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order.
Opening: feed the exposed row

- Tap the Light Blue tile in the left column of the exposed row into the navy blue receiver box.
- Send the Amber tile beside it into the amber box.
- Ignore the Pink and Dark Red tiles even though they are in reach — no box asks for them yet.
- As the queue delivers Dark Blue and Green tiles, let them stack on the conveyor; do not pull them into the tray while their boxes are absent.
- Watch for the crate bins to cycle to the front. The moment a crate bin is active, send the wooden crates down to begin opening the top of the board.
Midgame: clear the crates, open the mysteries
Once the first crates fall, the board changes character. The mystery tiles underneath get revealed, the ’?’ boxes come into rotation, and a Red receiver box finally appears for the Dark Red tiles waiting on the right.
- Make the crate bins your top priority — every crate delivered exposes another mystery tile and brings the ’?’ boxes closer to the front row.
- As mystery tiles land in the tray, hold them. Do not spend them randomly; wait until a dark ’?’ box cycles forward, then match the revealed color into it.
- Deliver the Dark Red tiles to the Red box the moment it appears on the rim.
- Keep Light Blue and Amber flowing in the background — the blue box recycles, and Amber tiles keep arriving from the queue.
- Resist the Green and Pink piles building in the tray. Their boxes only show up late, and grabbing them early is what jams the conveyor.
Cleanup: chase the last boxes
With the crates gone and the mystery tiles spent, the endgame is a short list. The remaining receiver boxes ask for Blue, Orange, Orange, and Red, and only a handful of tiles — a Blue, two Oranges, a Red, and a dark tile — are left on the grid, with Purple still rolling down the funnel.
- Match the two Orange tiles into the pair of orange boxes on the right side of the rim.
- Feed the final Blue tile into the blue box to cycle it closed.
- Send the last Red tile down to finish the red box.
- Let the dark tile ride the funnel to the final box as the front row cycles — keep the queue moving and the board clears itself.

Level 148 Tips Recap
- The crates are deliveries, not blockers: feed them to the crate bins to expose the mystery tiles underneath.
- Pink and Dark Red are bait at the opening — only Light Blue and Amber have boxes on the first pass.
- Never spend a revealed mystery tile until a ’?’ box is in the front row.
- Keep the conveyor clear: if a color has no active box, leave it on the queue no matter how tempting the grab is.
