Marble Sort Level 144 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 144 Board Overview: Locked Crates Before Color

Level 144 opens with a crowded, irregular tray and a receiver grid that is only partially open. The top row of collection Boxes asks for Red, Pink, and Dark Red, while the bottom row sits behind padlocks and asks for Yellow, Cyan, and more Dark Red. You cannot touch those locked boxes until you work your way down through the board.
Nine colors are in play at once, which makes this a sorting level as much as a matching one. The tray holds five main columns of marbles, with a few lock tiles and wooden crates planted near the base that block clean movement. Below the tray, the conveyor belt feeds a steady queue of extra marbles down into a central funnel, so the board keeps reloading itself even as you clear the grid.
The colors that matter in the opening are Red, Pink, and Yellow. Red and Pink have Boxes waiting in the top, unlocked row. Yellow wants to reach the locked bottom row, so it should be set aside until that row cycles open.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 144
The level is designed to make you over-commit to a single column and jam the conveyor.
- Lock tiles and crates at the base: several columns sit on top of wooden crates or lock tiles. Clearing the marble above them is easy; the crate beneath has to be worked around or the column locks up.
- Locked receiver rows: the bottom row of Boxes starts padlocked. Filling any of those boxes early is impossible, so colors like Yellow, Cyan, and Dark Red have no valid home until the midgame.
- Conveyor overload: the belt keeps queuing extra marbles. If you feed a color whose Box is still locked, you only stall the belt and crowd the funnel.
- A packed central funnel: late in the level the leftover marbles funnel together, so a single careless drop can bury a useful color under junk.
The board wants you to grab everything in reach. Do that and the funnel jams. Instead, commit only to colors whose Box is unlocked right now.
Marble Sort Level 144 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Stick to the open row first, then chase the locks.
Opening: clear the unlocked row

- Look at the top row of collection Boxes, which ask for Red, Pink, and Dark Red. These are your only guaranteed targets at the start.
- Tap the Red marbles you can reach into the Red Boxes.
- Move the Pink marbles into the Pink Box to free up tray space.
- Feed any Dark Red into its Box, but only once a matching Box is actually open — otherwise leave it on the belt.
- Do not drop Yellow, Cyan, or anything whose bottom-row Box is still padlocked. Keep those on the tray.
- As you clear the top row, work around the wooden crates and lock tiles sitting at the base of the columns instead of forcing marbles through them.
Midgame: break the locks
Once the top-row colors start clearing, the board relaxes and the locked rows open up.
- Break the lock tiles and clear the crates that have been blocking the lower columns.
- Now the Yellow Boxes are reachable — feed Yellow off the tray and into its newly unlocked slots.
- Start matching Green and Orange as their Boxes appear in the middle rows of the grid.
- Watch the conveyor queue as it feeds Yellow, Green, Purple, and Orange through the funnel, and only pull a color whose Box is currently open.
Cleanup: control the funnel
With the grid stripped down, the last marbles pool in the center.
- Drop connected runs of matching colors together as they arrive at the funnel.
- Leave orphans alone — a single stray marble can wait until its Box slides forward.
- From here, play only to the active row. Sort the last Cyan, Blue, and White, and the remaining Boxes pull the stragglers down on their own.

Level 144 Tips Recap
- Red, Pink, and Dark Red are your opening moves; Yellow and Cyan have no home until the bottom row unlocks.
- Work around the crates and lock tiles at the base of the columns instead of forcing marbles through them.
- Never feed the conveyor a color whose Box is still padlocked — you only stall the belt.
- In the late game the funnel is the whole board: only release a color whose Box is front and open.
