Marble Sort Level 265 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 265 Board Overview: The Padlocked Split Tray

Level 265 opens on a block-grid tray split down the middle by a locked metal chain with a padlock. The left grid is three columns tall by four rows, the right grid runs three columns by five rows, and until the chain opens you are effectively playing two separate mini-boards fed into the same conveyor of receiver stacks below.
The left grid starts stacked from the top: a grey block marked “3” caps column 1 over Bright Pink, Dark Brown, and White, while column 2 runs Yellow, Orange, Blue, and Light Pale Pink and column 3 runs Orange, Red, Blue, and Light Purple. The right grid carries the level’s special piece — a Light Blue block marked with a key icon at the top of column 5. Around it sit Purple, Orange, Blue, Green, and Bright Pink in column 4, Light Pale Pink, Yellow, Blue, and Light Teal down column 5, and Red, Dark Brown, and White in column 6 with two slots already empty.
The opening receiver stacks ask for Yellow, Light Pale Pink, Dark Brown, and Green, left to right. Those four colors are exactly what the right half of the tray is holding, which is your first clue: the padlock only comes off once you start feeding the board, and the right grid is the side meant to move first.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 265
The split tray is rigged to tempt you into feeding both halves at once. Here is the layout:
- The padlocked chain blocks the middle: you cannot route blocks freely between the left and right grids until the lock opens, so every tap commits you to one half of the board.
- The numbered lock block caps column 1: the grey “3” block sits above Bright Pink, Dark Brown, and White on the far left. It ticks down as you deliver — by the end of the solve it reads “2” while cradling a whole cluster of Yellow blocks — so the left column’s true colors stay buried until the lock loosens.
- The key-marked Light Blue block sits top-right: the key icon rides column 5’s top slot, and the right grid clears out almost entirely in the opening. The key block is part of that first wave, not something to save.
- Yellow is the endgame color: a late cluster of Yellow blocks stacks onto the locked block and the final receivers cycle back to Yellow. Spend the early Yellows and the finish stalls.
Marble Sort Level 265 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Play one half at a time. The right grid goes first.
Opening: clear the right grid

- Tap the Green block in column 4 straight into the Green receiver stack — it is the most exposed right-side block that matches an opening Box.
- Feed the Dark Brown blocks: one in column 1 of the left grid and one in column 6 of the right grid. The Brown receiver takes both.
- Tap the Light Pale Pink blocks in columns 2 and 5 into their receiver stack.
- Feed the Yellow blocks from columns 2 and 5 into the Yellow receiver while it sits front row.
- Grab the key-marked Light Blue block at the top of column 5 and drop it with the rest of the right grid’s Blue-family blocks as their receivers open.
- Keep peeling the right grid top to bottom — Purple, Orange, Blue, and Bright Pink in column 4 all feed as the front row rotates. The right half empties almost entirely in this phase.
Midgame: rotate the receivers through the left grid
By the mid-solve frame the right grid holds only a stray Red and a lone Light Teal, and the receiver line has rotated to Red, Pink, White, and Blue. The left grid is now the whole board, and the padlock has started its countdown.
- Feed the Red blocks (column 3 of the left grid and column 6 of the right) into the Red receiver.
- Tap the Bright Pink in column 1 and the Pink in column 2 row 4 into the Pink receiver.
- Feed the White blocks in column 1 — the chain-linked pairs come out in runs, so take them as they surface.
- Tap the Blue blocks in columns 2 and 3 into the Blue receiver once it slides forward.
- Leave the Orange block in column 2 and the Purple in column 3 row 4 on the tray — their receivers have not cycled yet, and parking them jams the belt.
- Keep deliveries flowing so the numbered lock keeps ticking down from “3”; every Box cleared loosens the chain a little more.
Cleanup: unlock the Yellow cluster
The end frame is still mid-solve: the lock block now reads “2” and cradles a cluster of Yellow blocks, a dark purple block waits directly beneath it, and Red and Orange are riding the conveyor. The receivers have cycled to Purple, Yellow, Green, and Yellow.
- When the Purple receiver opens, feed the Purple block from the left grid — the dark purple block under the lock block is part of this final push.
- The endgame receivers cycle back to Yellow: that cluster stacked on the locked block is the last real drop, so feed it once the lock’s countdown finishes and the Yellow receiver sits front row.
- Let the final Red and Orange marbles ride the conveyor into their receivers — they are already in transit and need no extra taps.
- Play only to the active front row from here. The remaining boxes pull the last stragglers down on their own and the tray empties.

Level 265 Tips Recap
- The padlocked chain splits the tray, so commit to one half at a time — the right grid clears first and carries the key-marked block.
- Feed only colors with an open receiver: Yellow, Light Pale Pink, Brown, and Green open the level; Red, Pink, White, and Blue wait for the midgame rotation.
- Watch the numbered lock: it ticks from “3” down as you deliver, so keep the belt moving instead of stalling on a single column.
- Endgame is Yellow — the locked block cradles the final cluster, so bank your early Yellows and let the last receiver cycle collect them.
