Marble Sort Level 264 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 264 Board Overview: The Conveyor-Fed Grid

Marble Sort level 264 opening board — The Conveyor-Fed Grid

Level 264 is a Hard tile-grid board with a conveyor instead of a simple tray. The main grid is built from big 2x2 blocks: a dark blue block stamped “38” in the upper-left, an orange block in the center, a purple block lower-left, a lime green block lower-center, and a red block lower-right, with a smaller dark blue block marked “4” tucked in beside them. The upper-right corner is capped by a 3x2 slab of grey ’?’ mystery tiles.

The conveyor below is loaded for the long haul. The belt arrives in rows of mixed batches — purple, blue, and yellow up top; red, pink, and yellow next; then rows of red, blue, green, and orange — and nearly every row carries a grey ’?’ mystery tile of its own. The three receiver boxes at the top cycle through their requests as you feed them.

This level is a patience test. The belt gives you a little of everything, the mystery tiles hide what the grid is really made of, and the numbered blocks promise big payoffs if you can keep their receivers open.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 264

  • Mystery ’?’ tiles everywhere: a 3x2 slab caps the upper-right grid and a grey ’?’ tile rides almost every conveyor row. You cannot plan around a color you cannot see, so every reveal is a gamble.
  • Numbered markers: the dark blue “38” and “4” blocks are worth several tiles in one drop. If their receiver is not in the front row, they just sit there and eat grid space.
  • Mixed conveyor batches: the belt delivers purple, blue, yellow, red, pink, green, and orange in quick succession. Feed every row that rolls by and the belt jams; only colors with an open receiver belong on the tray.
  • Late-game surprises: brown and white only show up later in the solve, almost certainly revealed by ’?’ tiles. They have no homes early and will wreck a greedy run.

Marble Sort Level 264 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: clear the loose tiles, bank the numbers

Marble Sort level 264 mid-solve board

  1. Start with the loose 1x1 tiles around the grid — the dark blue tile below the “38” block and the lime green tile on the far right — dropping each into its receiver if the front row asks for it.
  2. Peel the ’?’ slab in the upper-right one tile at a time. If the reveal matches an open receiver, drop it; if not, leave the column and come back.
  3. Bank the dark blue “38” and “4” blocks the moment a dark blue receiver cycles to the front — each pays several tiles in a single drop.
  4. Feed the conveyor in batches: a full matching row clears a receiver fast and keeps the belt moving.
  5. Treat every grey ’?’ tile riding the belt as an unknown — do not stack a combo on it, and only play it when its color matches an open receiver.

Midgame: let the receivers rotate into the grid

By the middle of the solve the big blocks are coming down and the belt is cycling harder. The numbered markers shrink toward single digits, the storage stacks fill with pink, green, yellow, brown, orange, blue, grey, and red, and the receiver slots cycle through green, purple, and dark red.

  1. Feed green, purple, and dark red as their receivers open — they cluster in the middle stacks, so they arrive in runs.
  2. Work each 2x2 block down one tile at a time; the tiles buried underneath are your real targets.
  3. Take the belt in its batches — a full matching batch finishes a receiver in a single pass and clears tray space fast.
  4. When a ’?’ tile reaches the front of the queue, treat it as an unknown: reveal and drop only if its color matches the active receiver.
  5. Prioritize the numbered blocks — every time one drops, several tiles leave the grid at once.

Cleanup: feed the stragglers

The end frame shows the tray stripped down: the numbered tiles ticked down to 0 and 1, the receivers still taking their final tiles, and only a handful of colors — pink, brown, purple, red, white, yellow, and green — still in play.

  1. Every remaining tile is a single waiting for its receiver to slide to the front — play only to the active row.
  2. Let the queue cycle: the last greens, pinks, and yellows feed as their receivers open. Do not chase colors whose receivers have already closed.
  3. Finish the final receivers as the stragglers drop and let the tray empty. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 264 Tips Recap

  • Reveal before you commit: ’?’ mystery tiles cap the upper-right grid and ride nearly every conveyor row, so never plan a combo on colors you cannot see.
  • Bank the numbered “38” and “4” blocks early — they pay several tiles into whichever receiver is front and center.
  • Only feed colors with an open receiver; the mixed belt of purple, blue, yellow, red, pink, green, and orange jams fast if you chase everything.
  • In the endgame the tray is nearly empty — cycle the belt and feed the last singles into their receivers.
