Marble Sort Level 199 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 199 Board Overview: The Mystery-Sealed Tray

Level 199 opens with a board that hides more than it shows. All five columns are capped by mystery ”?” tiles — eight in total, one or two per column — so the top of the tray is unreadable at the start. Only the lower half of each column is fair game, and the playable marbles are pinned between those sealed slots and the receiver Boxes below.
The colors you can actually touch early are Yellow, Dark Pink, Orange, Light Blue, and Purple. Their Boxes sit in the visible front rows: the front row wants Dark Blue, Light Blue, Orange, and Yellow, while the rows behind it hold more Orange, Yellow, and Light Blue plus Dark Pink and Purple Boxes. That leaves Red, Green, Pink, and Dark Green stranded in the tray with no Box in sight — their homes hide behind the ”?” Boxes in the back rows.
The real gatekeepers are the two numbered red tiles marked “3” sitting mid-column in the middle pair of columns. Each one behaves like a slow crate: it has to be cleared three times before the marbles trapped underneath can move. Between the mystery caps and those two numbered gates, Level 199 is a patience level that punishes greedy first moves.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 199
The opening board is rigged to make you feed the wrong colors. Here is the layout:
- The sealed tops: eight mystery ”?” tiles cap every column. You can only reach the marbles peeking out at the column bases, and anything under a ”?” tile is invisible until it lifts.
- The numbered “3” crates: two red tiles marked 3 sit mid-board in the middle columns, each needing three clears before the column fully opens. Treat them as slow gates, never as targets.
- The color gap: Red, Green, Pink, and Dark Green have zero visible Boxes at the start. Tap any of them early and the belt jams while you wait for their Boxes to cycle forward.
- The phantom Dark Blue: the front row asks for Dark Blue, but there is no Dark Blue marble visible anywhere on the opening tray. It only arrives once the mystery tiles start revealing what they hold.
The board wants you to chase everything within reach. Do that and the bottom queue fills with colors that have nowhere to go. Instead, feed only the colors whose Boxes are on screen, and let the mystery tiles and numbered crates unlock the rest of the level on their own.
Marble Sort Level 199 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order and keep the bottom belt short.
Opening: feed the visible homes

- Start on the far-left column and tap the bottom Yellow straight into the front-row Yellow Box.
- Tap the Dark Pink that rides up next into the Dark Pink Box on the left side of the third row.
- With those gone, drop the Orange above them into the Orange Box — the first three marbles of that column all have homes.
- Move to column 3 and tap the Purple at its base. It sits under two mystery tiles, but its base is reachable, and the Purple Box waits in the third row on the right.
- Work the far-right column: tap the bottom Dark Pink into the Dark Pink Box.
- Release the Light Blue just above it into the front-row Light Blue Box. Keep feeding Light Blue as it appears — the deeper rows hold more Light Blue Boxes.
- Do not touch Green, Pink, Dark Green, or anything under a numbered crate yet. None of them have a Box on screen, and the left column’s top Yellow can wait under its mystery tile.
Midgame: break the numbered crates
Once the early colors bank, the ”?” Boxes in the receiver start revealing their true colors and the front row cycles to include Pink, Green, and Blue. The two numbered “3” crates in the middle columns are now the bottleneck — each one needs to be cleared three times before it stays gone.
- Clear the first “3” crate in the left-middle column. It respawns, so clear it a second and third time to finally release the Light Blue and Dark Green trapped underneath.
- Do the same for the second “3” crate in the right-middle column to free the Pink and Dark Green below it.
- Feed the freed Light Blue immediately — the back rows still hold Light Blue Boxes, and it clears fast once moving.
- Start clearing Green as soon as its Box reaches the front row. Green stacks in the far-right column and thins out quickly.
- Keep the belt short: only send a marble whose Box sits in the front or second row, and let the queue drain before you refill it.
Final stretch: ride the belt home
With the middle of the board open and most of the receiver filled, the level settles into a rhythm of feeding the front row and letting the queue pull marbles down. The video ends before the final clears, so play conservatively from here.
- Watch the bottom queue in the endgame — Red, Dark Blue, and Light Blue ride the belt late. Feed each one only as its Box reaches the front row.
- The center column empties first; use its freed space to shuffle stragglers out of the way.
- Pair off the remaining clusters — the left column still holds Orange and Yellow, the right column holds Pink and Green — and clear them as the front row asks.
- Two stars are banked when the video cuts, with a chain of Red marbles still flowing down to the queue. Finish by clearing the last front-row Boxes in order and letting the belt do the rest.

Level 199 Tips Recap
- Red, Green, Pink, and Dark Green have no Boxes in the opening rows — admire them from a distance until the receiver cycles.
- The mystery tiles lift on their own as you bank clears; do not force the colors hiding underneath.
- Each numbered “3” crate takes three clears. Budget your taps around them instead of trying to rush through.
- The belt is the heartbeat of the level: keep it short, feed only front-row colors, and the final stretch sorts itself.
