Marble Sort Level 405 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 405 Board Overview: The Locked-Heart Grid

Level 405 is a hard tile-grid board built around a golden key bar. The center of the tray is sealed: a yellow key-lock guards the middle slots and holds Orange and Dark Blue tiles hostage behind it, with the spaces around them sitting empty and grey until the lock breaks. Everything you can safely play at the start sits on the rim of that locked heart.
The opening grid is a cross of tiles. The top two rows carry Brown and White on the left, then Yellow, Red, Pink, and Dark Blue across the second row. Flanking columns hold pairs of Dark Green plus a Light Pink on the left and a Brown plus another Dark Green on the right, while the bottom row runs Light Blue and three Whites. The receiver Boxes that actually have homes right now ask for Light Blue, White, Brown, and Red — exactly four of the colors the tray is showing you.
The conveyor below is already loaded with the danger. It dispenses in batches of four: Orange, Purple, White, and Dark Green each ride in groups of four, with a three-Pink group behind them. Only White on that belt matches an open Box at the start, and every batch of four will fill a receiver in one pass once its Box cycles forward. Do not let the belt’s early colors panic you into grabbing them.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 405
The tray is rigged to make you feed the belt before the Boxes are ready. Here is the layout:
- The golden key bar seals the center: Orange and Dark Blue tiles sit locked in the middle slots, with a yellow key guarding them. The heart of the tray is unreachable until the front Boxes clear enough to unlock it.
- Only four colors have Boxes at the start: Light Blue, White, Brown, and Red receivers are open. Yellow, Pink, and the Dark Green column tiles have no home yet — and neither do the Orange and Purple batches already rolling down the belt.
- The belt feeds in fours: each batch arrives as a full group, so a single mistimed tap parks four matching tiles on the queue with nowhere to drop. One greedy tap can stall the whole belt.
- White looks like the obvious opener but it is everywhere: top row, bottom row, and a full belt batch. Burn the White Box too fast and you will hold four White tiles hostage at the front of the queue.
Marble Sort Level 405 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed here. Follow the release order.
Opening: clear the rim while the lock holds

- Tap the top-left Brown tile straight into the Brown Box. It is the highest safe tile on the board.
- Feed the Red tile from the second row into the Red Box.
- Start the Light Blue Box with the Light Blue tile on the bottom row. This Box has the most slots, so it is your long-term feeder.
- Move the top-row White tile into the White Box, then keep it topped up from the two Whites left on the bottom row — the White Box wants three total.
- Leave Yellow, Pink, and every Dark Green column tile alone. None of them have a Box yet.
- Do not tap Orange, Purple, or Pink off the belt while their receivers are still locked or closed. Let the White batch ride to the front when the White Box has room.
Midgame: the key bar breaks and the Boxes rotate
Once the opening four Boxes clear, the lock gives way and the receivers cycle hard — the new front row asks for Yellow, Green, Pink, and Brown, with Blue and White slots cycling behind them, and a keyed collector opens in the middle that wants Orange.
- The moment the center unlocks, drop the Orange and Dark Blue tiles that were sealed behind the key bar into their open receivers.
- Feed the keyed Orange collector next — it takes three tiles and leaves one slot to finish, so feed it in one run and clear the center of the tray.
- Now the belt’s batches are legal. Ride the four-Orange and four-Purple groups into their Boxes as they cycle forward — each batch finishes a receiver in a single pass.
- When the receivers ask for Yellow and Pink, clear the second row of the grid and start pulling the stragglers off the columns.
- Keep matching each four-batch on the belt to the Box that is front and center. Never tap a queue color whose receiver has already closed.
Cleanup: feed the last scattered blocks
The end frame still shows a live board, not a victory: a Green block sits on the left, Brown holds the top-center, Blue waits on the right, and a Purple block hovers near the collector zone with the belt running full of Red, White, Brown, Blue, Orange, Pink, and Yellow. The level is close, but the finishing line still needs careful taps.
- Play only to the active front row from here. Every remaining block is a single color waiting for its Box to slide forward.
- Let the queue cycle through its last full batches — the fours finish receivers faster than any individual tap.
- Clear the final Green, Brown, Blue, and Purple stragglers as their Boxes open, and the last receiver closes the level.

Level 405 Tips Recap
- Brown, White, Red, and Light Blue are your only safe openers — everything else waits for the key bar to break.
- The belt feeds in batches of four: never tap Orange or Purple early, or you stall the queue with four homeless tiles.
- When the center unlocks, clear the sealed Orange and Dark Blue immediately — that is the whole point of the board.
- In the endgame the tray is nearly empty; just cycle the belt and feed the last scattered blocks into their Boxes.
